I suppose melt downs are different things to different people..some express depression and anger..others hurt and rage..and i'm sure a lot in between...for me it's a stage when i feel i can no longer cope with situations..and my head feels as it will explode with the rage and depression i feel..i do...

I think you are right in a way..when you have had crap all your life from people it can make you bitter towards people I try just to avoid people..i am always polite to people and never rude....but it can be hard to try and change a life time of issues and turn into a different person..i will always...

I have normal eye contact although i tend to look away after a few mins....i don't like to keep looking at people when i talk so i kind of look around and don't like to focus on a person for too long

I think with AS because it is a spectrum disorder we all have different issues..some people have minor issues and can work and keep a job and others have more complicated problems that they can't seem to solve on their own..like me..so support could be just a chat or it could mean getting some help ...

After years of problems....i was glad to find out that it was a condition i had rather than a metal health issue that i thought i had....
although i find it hard to accept i am still glad i know what my problem has always been...at least i can try and overcome some of the issues it causes. :)
