Yes, I do think I'm stimming. Just because other people do it more severely or in more stereotypical ways (hey, I flap and rock too!), doesn't negate mine. It's like saying "You think you have a bruised leg! Well you don't, because this person's leg is covered in bruises!" EXACTLY. I actually find ... |

Thanks. And yeah it's hell. People can be jerks and so rude to me because of it. The majority of people either tell me I'm 1: Psycho or 2: To just "get over it." My brother purposefully wont wash his hands just to be mean. ugh. |

I'm taking it now...but I don't know how to answer some of the questions. "Do you drop things when your attention is on something else?" Is it asking me if I literally DROP things, like I'm reading a book and then I see something that distracts me and I drop the book, or is it asking if I'm doing wo... |

That guy is a douche nozzle. I wish I had more advice, I've been in the same situation as you before though. Hopefully the Asperger's Society can help you out, I've never thought of emailing them for advice. Maybe I should. I've had two failed visits to doctors. First one refused to diagnose me beca... |

I constantly quote movies in every day speech. When I'm joking around with my fiance (he is the ONLY person that can jokingly insult me and I won't take it seriously) I quote Monty Python and the Holy Grail e.g. "It's veddy nice-uh!" "Go away or I shall taunt you a second time-uh!" I also enjoy quot... |

Phobias, no matter what they are, that are so bad they affect you in everyday life? For me it's mysophobia (germs) and emetophobia (fear of getting sick). It when I was 15 when my grandpa who lives with me and my parents had a stroke and got sick. His immune system weakened, he was in and out of the... |

People that use the word literally, metaphorically. e.g. (I was so scared I literally jumped out of my pants and flew to my bed!) Cats. I hate cats. People that use the word blonde in a derogatory way. e.g. (I hate dealing with customers, nothing but tools and their blonde girlfriends) (Stupid blond... |

Dear fiance's friends (mainly best friend): LEAVE ME THE HECK ALONE. So what!? I'm not like most girls, I don't spend hours talking about celebrities and I don't socialize that much, I may be awkward and come off "wrong" to yall but none of you know me! None of you take the time to get to know your ... |

Quiet kid who was alone all the time, always caught up in my own world and totally oblivious that socializing existed until about the 5th grade. I was also the top of my grade and won awards and such, making me a very hated person. I always was the center of controversy even though I had no friends ... |

The only "real" friend I have is my fiance, who I have been close to for 5 years.
I've had friends throughout my life but never manage to keep them for more than a year. At the moment, besides my man, I have maybe 3 aquaintences and that is it. |

Yeah. When I was little I had tons of interests and they were more narrow. I used to be obssessed about clouds around 8. I had a little book on different types and everyday I would sit outside with my book and identify all the clouds I saw to myself and whoever was around me. (Look mom, it's a nimbo... |

I'm a white female and for me it was African American males oddly enough. I live in perdominatley black are in the south. I've been bullied, made fun of for being pale, all of that, even got hit with a lunchbox full of rocks. I'm sure if I lived in a mostly white area it would be them who bullied me... |

Undiagnosed, yet quite sure I have it. It would explain my problems I've had since childhood. I seem to have every symptom, a few known comorbidities, and I meet all the diagnostic criteria. Plus, teachers, family doctor, my family, and my brother's wife that works with autistic children have all po... |

The one I've been told about is that I don't notice when I hurt someone's feelings or pissed them off, which I tend to do without meaning so :( . Later on I'll have somebody saying "You know you hurt their feelings, right?" "Didn't you see the look on their face, you made them upset." I always feel ... |

16/20. I just remember reading somewhere years ago that you can tell if someone's smile is genuine or not by looking at the eyes. If they scrunch up, it supposedly means it is genuine. |
