I am 21 years old (I will be 22 in October). I have never had sex, but I have had a few casual encounters. Since college began for me 3 years ago, I have not dated anybody and have only had 2 casual encounters that were followed by us never really speaking again (1 through okcupid). When I was 19 an...

I can definitely relate as well. I had a roommate the past few months who was ignorant and unintelligent as can be- was getting drunk at almost every chance of free time he got, was bigoted toward women and muslims, etc. What I find comforting is that I most likely will not be seeing them ever again...

I wanted to talk to some of the people on here that are in their later 20s or early 30s (40s maybe?). I just turned 21 last October. I was diagnosed with AS when I was 8, but I no longer see myself as being disabled. I have a great job that is part time and seasonal, working with people that have si...

Ok. Fair enough. These are my responses. I do not mean to condescend or dismiss. P1: Where are these rights and moral laws derived from? I do think it is possible (though still destructible) to erect a system that enforces these rights you speak of (though the means used in which to enforce them are...

To the OP: it doesn't necessarily have to be black and white. I've found this myself. I guess if this person is making you feel sad whenever you see them, then you probably should cover yourself with some space from that person. Up to this point, many of my closest friends have not been in school an...

I'm sorry, but if you have an ideology that you have declared, you'll have to explain to me how your views led you to such a conclusion. I have blindly followed libertarians (right and left), socialists, progressives, and republicans/conservatives all in the course of 2 years. I'm not even that grea...

I'm a man/guy/big boy  I'm in Colorado- Northern area. Send a personal message if you want to know more about specific location and pictures. I'm 21, but many people my age irritate me with their lack of logic, laziness, and short-sightedness (or maybe I'm just overly fixated on long-run outcom...

I like the site. One of those few examples where "social" media is used for good very often (in my opinion). Sure, there are some weird meetup groups (for example, there was a swinger group that I found once and I'm just like "wut"). However, even I am working on getting in the h...

I have had Facebook since I started high school. I am 21 now and a junior in college. I still check Facebook at least once a day, but my goal is to eventually get off of it or to not use my personal account other than to market myself as a musician (I play trombone and sing, and I hope to become a g...

Is it this person's personality that is getting you down? Or the fact that they are in the middle of living out bad decisions they have made? I can empathize a little bit with both of the above problems.

Earlier this evening I was a little upset and just felt like going to bed. Why? I felt like I had nothing to do this Friday night! My biggest issue with my school and the freshmen here is that there is a HUGE Greek Life component and my whole hallway loves to go to parties. Let me start out by sayin...

I want to thank you all for your input. I'll have you know that I did move rooms and now I have my own room. It is very nice. I hardly have seen my roommate since I moved on Wednesday evening.

Hello WP community, School is back in session for me. I am in my second quarter as a freshman. I have a goal to concentrate harder on my work and get distracted by trivial interests less. Partying is pretty much ruled out because I can't really stand college parties. One conflict I have, though is m...

Having gone around and talked to others, it seems like feeling neutral to certain things is frowned upon, and/or seen as an excuse to not think. Maybe so. Every school of thought has its critics from within and from outside. It just so happens that I am a sponge when it comes to politics and religio...

The offspring are the bomb! Their new album is trashy though IMO. I like Punk rock in general, even though my politics don't always necessarily agree with the ones with a "message."

Yeah I would say because Aspies tend to be more cerebral. HOWEVER, I have grown to like alot of pop and mainstream rock. But that's because my taste in music expanded vibrantly over the course of high school
