I'm not really a metalhead, but I do like some really heavy metal, so I'll add my 2c. I pay attention to lyrics, and the majority of the metal bands I listen to are christian (most of the non-christian bands I like have already been mentioned). I hope knowing that doesn't automatically turn you off ...

Anxiety can cause memory problems, cause your so busy worrying about things that you can't effectively encode important things into your memory. Basically there is too much already going on in your head and there is only so much you can focus on. I guess this is probably it. I don't think of myself...

I can really relate to this. It seems like the things I have the worst self-discapline about are things that have to do with taking care of myself. Case in point: I can never seem to get myself to go to bed at a reasonable time. It's almost 2am right now in my time zone. Other things I'm bad about i...

I have a memory bad enough that I almost consider it a disability on its own. I keep notes to myself all over my room, in my pocket, in my car, and in my computer. I work at Dairy Queen and I keep having to look back at the order again to remind myself of the next blizzard or other ice cream treat I...

(I have more than a couple sentences and not all of it is non-aggressive, but you can pick out a couple sentences to use if you like.) - I don't understand why everyone tries to be something they're not. And everyone BS's and sends hidden messages. Don't expect me to hear what you're not saying. Why...

I was diagnosed a couple years ago when I was 30. Me and my parents knew for a long time there was something not right about me, and it was good to have a name and explaination for the weaknesses/symptoms I have. I was getting help from a organization in my area called DARS, a government organizatio...

I can really relate to a lot of those symptoms posted by Valkyrie2012, including the delayed reactions. I work at a Dairy Queen with a drive thru, and I very often have to ask people to repeat themselves or turn off their loud engine when I'm taking orders. My NT coworkers have problems with underst...

Some of my symptoms, mainly the speech impediments, stimming and particular behaviors like avoiding eye contact or zoning out before I react on something, like a question, make people think I'm mentally ret*d and that's what really sucks, so I could possibly vote for both, dependent on the perspect...

I'm about halfway through reading Harmonic Feedback right now, and I'm really liking it so far. Thank you for writing it. I actually found this forum because of the book. Here's my halfway-through review I posted on goodreads: (copied and pasted because I can't post a link here yet. ...and with the ...
