Not really, no. Friends tend to be either demanding or distance. Sometimes both at different times when the mood takes them. I'm afraid I've learned to keep my distance from people because of this. I'm not good at emotional engagement anyway, so why bother? Because of this I'm unlikely to be socially "useful" to most people, so there's little point in dealing with them on anything more than a superficial level. ...

I'm 36 and from Preston. So I'm probably too old now to have friends. Plus I'm massively alexithymic, which doesn't help matters
