I was wondering if anyone here is nonverbal or has difficulties with communication and uses text to speech software for typing on an iPad or whatever, and can give recommendations on which programs are best. I'm asking because my dad has a glioblastoma on the speech center of his brain. If it grows ...

I wear sports bras exclusively, but have a question. People always talk about not wearing bras, but how is that modest? Maybe most people just have smaller breasts than me, but how do your nipples not show and your breasts jiggle around when you run? Just wondering.

I used to know like 200, but now I don't know exactly how many digits I have memorized, but it's less.

I have synesthesia, mostly colored letters and numbers, but I wonder how accurate your poll is. You see, your poll was on the forum in a whole list of things I could have clicked on, and I didn't HAVE to click on it at all. The "synesthesia" jumped out at me because I have synesthesia. I wonder if o...

I used to have a mood ring that my mom gave me. It seemed to be accurate, for me. I saw some "mood beads" at Hobby Lobby that you could make your own jewelry out of, and I held one in my hand just as an experiment. It seemed to be fairly accurate based on the chart that came with it. Maybe it works ...

I have this thing where I compulsively say "bunny", sometimes several times in a row "bunny-bunny-bunny". I also say "kitty" or "kitty-kitty-kitty". Can that be tourettes, or is it just a verbal stim?

I am a pro-life Christian. Abortion is most often not what the rape victim wants, oddly enough, and is very traumatic for the mother. Rape is already traumatic without adding abortion on top of it. Adoption is a better alternative. The government has decided that the death penalty is "cruel and unus...

Gluten is in wheat, rye, oats, barley, spelt, kamut and triticale. Actually the oats are debatable; I eat gluten free oats but haven't tested celiac, but I do better without gluten or dairy. Be careful with processed foods, there are often hidden sources of gluten. Reduced fat dairy products can hav...

Actually, passing Prop. 37 would be a good thing. GMOs are not safe and labeling them in California would cause them to be labeled the same in all U.S. The GMO industry is running these ads that make it look ridiculous, but it is really common sense. Alcohol doesn't have an ingredient list anyway, f...

The guy who wrote the book Be Different (can't remember his name, John Robin or something) used the word "nypical" as shorthand for "neurotypical". He said neurotypical sounded too clinical.
