Hmm, I'm not sure he's autistic as such, perhaps ADHD, or William's syndrome. William's is pretty much the opposite of autism where you have a below average IQ but you absolutely love everyone, and love to be around them and be helpful and useful, and it's often hard to tell when people don't want ... |

For some reason when it's speaken slowly Arabic sounds very nice, but when I hear it on tv a lot of people speak Arabic in a very agressive way and I don't like it either. More people told me they have the same opinion. My mother doesn't like the Arabic language, my brother neither and I spoke with ... |

Spongebob is one of my favorite shows, but what actually is quite remarkable to me is that Spongebob seems to show some signs of autism: - He doesn't realise that people hate him and keeps being happy - His behaviour is annoying and he doesn't realise it (is the case for some autistic people) - Nobo... |

Adam Lanza was never officially diagnosed with Asperger syndrome, his mother and brother merely speculated that he had Asperger syndrome. You are wrong, if you watched the video in the OP you would know that he actually was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome, after being first diagnosed with a disor... |

Are you sure that this isn't a trait of Aspergers? I have some similar traits as in the OP. |

For those who don't want to watch the video, the text version from the Hartford Courant. It automatically plays a video at the top, which you can pause via a button on the lower left of the video. Also, you may get an annoying popup ad for the "Connecticut Home Show". http://www.courant.com/news/co... |

What a ridiculous claim. In the army people are constantly 'nurtured' to kill people. One method is learning people how to do it, another method is giving people a lot of stress and humiliation and it could become an outlet. Yeah, because I'm absolutely sure Adam's mother conditioned him into demon... |

Most people with Aspergers Syndrome have a good sense of humor. Could there be some sort of seperate forum in which you could just joke around without being serious? It could be a relief for some people here and a good way to make fun with eachother. Examples would be not only topics with just jokes... |

Nurture ain't going to make someone murder a couple of classrooms' full of kids. "Bad", "evil", "the wrong biology", "nature", or whatever you like to call it, does. What a ridiculous claim. That's very NT-like. NT people also like to just judge: he's bad, he's wrong, without looking further what are the causes and what could prevent it. It's a form of security. |

I just found this video: http://video.pbs.org/video/2336615746 Well, it seems like it's official that he was actually diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome and he seems to have had a very severe form, as I am myself autistic I can actually understand the trouble he has been in, although his decisions w... |

The mistake you and a lot of people make is the reason why behind it. I have studied the subject 'psychopath' for quite some time and one important similarity between psychopathy and aspergers is: no empathy, but the way in which the lack of empathy is present is different. That's not a similarity.... |
