Indeed there must be a problem on a communicational point of view: I find it unusual to post such a long post, given that few would read it up to the end (i'm sorry to say). It is unusual, but not typical to autism. You say you did not qualify for autism according to the tests. Well, when we autist... |

I like staring right into their curious, calculating, empty little eyes and imagining the worst possible thing I could do to them. Their facial expressions enrage me, their confident happy bouncy little personalities, which suddenly turn into a nightmare of whining and annoyance, both equally irrit... |

OK posting more... too much to reply to, sorry. Someone could be a murderer, a racist or just a terrible person and I don't feel any hatred towards them. I still regard them as a human being with value, not a worthless "piece of crap". It doesn't mean I'd want to hang out with them, but I'... |

I can't believe that exist "evil" people. Some people do bad, but I often think there is a reason that lead them towards that (which doesn't mean that they shouldn't take responsibility for their acts, but the environment should be considered). I'm completely against death penalty or life... |

And you want to change this approach, yes? I am not sure what I can do. Will I have to become like the redneck bullies who think everything that isn't "Uhmurican" is either "gay" or "weird"? Sorry, I don't see how this would follow from stopping to ruminate and startin... |

My therapist has tried to help me understand social signals and work on social skills but the main issues she thinks I suffer from is not living in the present since I am either ruminating oh my past or I am having bleak future thoughts. I also tend to have a lot of "stories" in my mind s... |

No idea since I have never seen you in real life, but here's another suggestion, find a professional IRL who can help with that aspect. Some sort of a counselor or therapist who deals in these issues about improving social skills. I'm not familiar with the options over there so I can't get more spe... |

One more thing. What does "mute selection" mean? I googled the term and found nothing other than the two mentions of it in this thread . |

Getting in shape decently well shouldn't take more than 1 year of regular and intense enough training or so. (Initially not so intense.) With a good diet of course. But can I still socialize during all that? Of course! I just wonder what I need to do differently in terms of socialization. No idea s... |

I'm from the super attractive thin young women liberal belt aka the west coast Aren't there a lot of obese young liberal women on the west coast who will get mad at you if you don't change what you're attracted to conform to their obesity acceptance? If you to stay were you are you'll be surrounded... |

I just can't understand this fixation on age. :) In my experience, it's because life moves painfully slow for me and it feels like everyone else's life is going much faster. I don't know if it's true or if the depression I suffer from distorts how I see things. I sometimes get fears I won't have my... |

I'm turning 30 this year and I still haven't done most of the things on this list. http://www.lifehack.org/274987/11-things-successful-people-age-30?ref=sidebar Why do you care about a random website's opinion? You define success for yourself. In that list, I didn't do items 2, 8, 9 and 11, and I w... |

Yes you can. Love is a basic human emotion. That's like saying "I can't feel sad". You can have a hard time feeling love, but you can get over that. People who are have Alexithymia usually end up loving somebody later. Watch some porn and come back to me and say you felt absolutely nothin... |
