I currently have the 10 year IUD and it seems to be working pretty well for me (knock on wood). I had it inserted in April 2011 after having my son in December 2010. I had my daughter then my son back to back, so I definitely needed a long term method. I have the one with no hormones so no crazy sid... |

At the risk of sounding prejudice (I apologize in advance), I have yet to come across any fellow African-Americans with ASD/Aspergers. In my Aspie Twitter searches, meetup.com group searches, and even from what I read in the forums on this site, it just seems like fellow African American Americans w... |

Note: Sometimes I'm not very good at expressing myself in a simplified way, so I apologize in advance if this ends up being long-winded or all over the place.... Since learning about my Aspergers I have managed to become more aware of things socially, such as how I am perceived by others, which has ... |

Welcome to WP. I'm new here myself and like you, I'm undiagnosed, but the shoe definitely fits! Although I don't know any of these people, they are like my online family or support system, and by reading other posts, I have determined that this is the only place where I've ever felt so understood or... |

I can completely relate to Kairi96 and LizNY's answers, and I hated being labeled as "shy" so much that I would overtly try to prove myself as an outgoing person, which would eventually result in people distancing themselves from me or talking about me behind my back. I've quickly learned to accept ... |

I can completely relate. But just like justrandomme said, people are always gonna see you the way they see you. Once they put a label on you, to them that label is never coming off. No matter how much you try to change and improve, those people are just gonna amount it to you "trying too hard". Even... |

This is totally unrelated, but how do you guys come up with the stuff in your signatures ( AQ score, Aspie score, NT score)? Is there a test that everyone is taking? |

Welcome to WP. You experiences sound so similar to mine, especially with wanting to "commit internet suicide". I've definitely been there, and am still contemplating whether it's really worth it to keep my Twitter account....but anyway, it DOES feel good to know that our awkwardness has a name! |

Hi, I'm new to this site. I am a 21 year old, self-diagnosed Aspie, who is also a wife and mother to two beautiful toddlers. My entire life suddenly makes sense now that I understand who I am. My sister was diagnosed with Aspergers in our childhood, and both of my parents, though undiagnosed, have s... |
