We made it through two World Wars. We made it through the Cold War. We made it through Watergate. We made it through Iran-Contra. We made it through Monica Lewinsky. We made it through 9/11. We made it through Trump 1.0. We made it through Biden's dementia. We'll make it through this, too. I think ...

I'm trying to save money, but some ideas for saving money pose some dilemmas. I have ADHD and autism. I could get a roommate to save on rent, but that comes all the usual problems with having a roommate. The dilemma is, I probably wouldn't be a good roommate, because I have trouble keeping up with c...

I’m planning on retaking the general GRE to try to get a higher score, and to try to get into graduate school. When I took the general GRE last time, I didn't get an accommodation. So I was stressed that I didn't get extra time. So I ended up not doing as well as I could have on the math section (ev...

On Saturday, I was driving on my way to a date at an ice cream place. I was running late due to issues with Google Maps. The ice cream place is at a mall in a downtown area, I had to find parking. I decided to park in a parking garage, and went in. After I don't know how many minutes, I couldn't fin...

On at least one of the ABDL sites, there is a subgroup within that community that is ASD/Aspergers. This study seems to studying the overlap between the two groups. I have a lady friend (who is Neurotypical) that I talk to frequently, several times a week. I like her and she likes me. She says there are a lot of things she likes about me, but she is on the fence. She says it is because I don't open up emotionally, and she needs that emotional connection. How ca...

Actually, I forgot there was something in the U.S. called the E.E.O.C. It probably needs to be reformed so that AS/Autism is it's own category for one.

You know what needs to happen? A law needs to be passed that government contractors have to hire x% of aspies into their work force. The simplicity of it means that a company has a very hard time getting around it.

Does it bother anybody else that politics has more to do with beliefs than facts? (Not that beliefs are necessarily bad). I feel pressured by family members to vote one ...

Not really, but it does bother me that cousins and friends have a significant other, and I don't. I don't really resent it, so much as I feel sad that I don't have somebody. Maybe I am jealous, because I don't like the thought that cousins achieve something before I do, even though I am older than t...
