I was on the fence until the recent post quoting Robison. I'm a senior in college,Autism Speaks implying that I'm some kind of non-functional, mental challenged child was almost enough to make me break my cover and post the link in his article to facebook. |

I've flapped my hands since I was 11, and I do it when I'm excited and sometimes a little bit when I'm stressed, but only at home. Unless something happens that causes me to do it in public, but I usually hide it. I know it's a bit annoying, but it helps me relieve excessive excitement and stress. ... |

I've never had to use anything beyond foam plugs, and I've shot everything up to and including .300 Ultramags, .338 Lapua mag, .50 BMG, etc. I wouldn't shoot rifles indoors if you're that concerned, that can get a little intense, but otherwise I'd say have at it. People have different interests.My special interest is military history so that is what I'm majoring in.I tried something more practical (economics) and realized that I'm bad with numbers.Why get a degree in something you have no natural talent in? |

because the Maryland "assault weapons" ban kicks in on Oct 1st the wait to get a regulated(soon to be banned) firearm is about 60 to 100 days because the background checks are so backed up because people are buying so many guns.I could(and might) buy a stripped AK receiver but I would end up getting... |

Thanks guys,I'll remember to invest in some good ear protection.I've already shot a 9mm XD and 45 caliber 1911.I'm a pretty big guy so unless the recoil is at an absurd level I should be fine. |

it's totally normal.I remember one time the Redskins scored a touchdown and my dad screamed right next to me a and I started crying and put my hands on my ears.It's like a mini meltdown.If he does this constantly you need to tell HR. |
