I'm from the Anglosphere and have moved to Northern Europe, and since then have had a really negative experience with the psychiatrists who had until now been either very condescending to me or dragging their feet. 1) In an official statement: I should point out that Dexedrine is a drug commonly use...

It's been a long, long time since I've posted here, but here I am now. I first joined because my wife had suspected that I have Asperger's. Much has happened since my last post. I'm also on a new medication that really seems to be working well, which I suppose is why I'm feeling well enough to get b...

I choose red based on my political leanings, i.e. red as in social-democracy, not as in American Republican party. Left of red I would interpret as something like commie-anarchist, which would be too extreme for me. BTW, it's interesting that the results are now skewed toward blue after kevinjh ment...

Did someone say that what you are claiming here, or are you just overinterpretating? I guess overinterpreting. Maybe overreacting would be a better way of describing it since I'm not saying that anyone has said this about me on this forum. I'm kind of sensitive about this issue. There is a kind of ...

I'm really hesitant with ADD/ADHD. It's a disorder that gets thrown around a LOT. (I've heard up to 1 in 10.) I think that it isn't a disorder but a simple example of the disagreement artificial society has with the natural brain. We're living in a world where for the first time in billions of year...

Your situation with your friends sounds very much like something I had gone through many years ago. My friends had ganged up on me with criticizing me because I was going through a depression (although at the time I didn't realize it) and I was therefore a drag to be around. At one point my dad had ...

Hi everyone, I am new to this site. I haven't been formally diagnosed as having Asperger's, but when I was in psychotherapy my therapist, who was an expert on learning disabilities, thought that I have it. Also, my wife thinks I have it. In any case, I seem to share many of it's characteristics. I'm...
