Yes I definitely have this. Most group conversations go way too fast for me. I can hear the individual words, but I just lose the meaning of what is being said. Also, when someone speaks to me unexpectedly, I almost always ask them to repeat themselves because the words just didn't register. It's be...

No, I don't enjoy life most of the time. I have failed at almost everything in life. I try to live day to day, but the thought of having to go on for another 50 or 60 years sometimes depresses me. Life feels like too much of a hassle sometimes. I can enjoy little things like watching a good movie, b...

It's next to impossible for me to learn anything I'm not interested in. That's one of the reasons I dropped out of school.
I can't motivate myself at all to learn things I don't care about.

^^ This. And also drawing, and other subjects where I have to be creative. I'm not creative at all.

I always thought things would get easier for me, and I would grow up to be a normal adult. Needless to say I didn't, or else I wouldn't be here. Making friends actually became harder after I went to secondary school. It was never easy, but as a kid I could play with other children and do games...

I can't dance at all, and I refuse to do it no matter how hard others try to make me dance. I would look like a complete idiot.
I have bad motor coordination, and no sense of rhythm at all.

This is very common for people on the spectrum! It's because we often have poor ToM, which causes difficulty with knowing how others will respond to our actions or the things we say. I've had this happen many times. Ah that's good to know, though sorry for stating the complete obvious  Looks ...

Both of my parents are probably (undiagnosed) aspies, but my sister is the complete opposite of us and more or less NT. (She has mild ADHD)

So no, I don't think you can be raised to be an aspie. It's mostly genetic.

I rarely touch other people, and I also hate being touched.
I can tolerate a handshake or a hand on my shoulder, but everything else makes me cringe.

I can totally relate! I only open the door if I'm expecting someone. And I don't let anyone in for the purpose of socializing. Letting people in makes me very uncomfortable. I need to have control over when and how long I socialize, I have to be able to leave when I've had enough. I'm also a lot les...

You'll be fine for the time being. Just make sure you have decent and up-to-date antivirus software, because the lack of security updates will make your computer more vulnerable to malware over time.

Yes all the time! If someone asks me to get something for them I come back empty handed most of the time. I can never seem to find the item that was described to me, even if it turns out it was right in front of me. This is also why I want people who borrow stuff from me to put it back at the exact ...
