This may be strange but today, I'm feeling very frustrated with my inability to get it together enough to try and write or draw. My irritability level is super high, every noise is a major distraction and I feel like I'm winding myself up for a meltdown. I get this sensation that I just want to tear...

I've had similar problems. I have felt like an idiot on many occasions while talking. I'll either choose the wrong words or mispronounce words that I know perfectly well how to say. They just come out wrong. I find that I avoid speaking because of that.

I've been married 20 years and it seems to be coming to a grinding halt. As I've become older, it has been harder to play the "normal" game with everyone. My wife knows about Aspergers but accuses me of using it as an excuse for everything. I don't think that I do. I just try to get her to understan...

I've read about the auditory processing disorder before and came to the conclusion that it was most likely a part of my problem.

Exactly. I think most people think I'm just not paying attention or slow. I cannot retain numbers in my head at all. I learned a long time ago to always have a small notepad in my pocket. Even easier now, I use the memo function on my phone.

Oh thank you so much, dossa. I am rather isolated where I live and don't have any support group type things available. You described exactly what I wrote about. Not that I would wish these things on anyone, but it is good to know it isn't something that I have conjured up to make excuses for my faul...

I have been married for 20 years. One of the many things of annoyance for my wife is that I have a difficult time hearing her (or anyone else). I don't have any actual hearing problems but sometimes when people speak to me, I lose comprehension. The words they speak become blurred or muffled soundin...

I still get the warning but if you check the diagnostic link Google leaves it says it is safe. Go figure.

Wonderful photography on your site.

Looks pretty good. There is something so pleasurable doing stop motion. The immediacy is great and now, with the ability to create digitally and have instant playback, it's even more fun. No more waiting to see processed film! Oh yeah, I tried going to your web site but I get a malware alert from Go...

*facepalm* "HAY GUISE, WE'RE REPRESENTING DIVERSITY SO WE'VE GOT TO MAKE HIM MORE OBVIOUSLY DISABLED!" Wasn't he speculated AS by fans BEFORE the "official" diagnosis? I'm sure he was by everyone who might recognize AS but that episode was for a general audience who might not have a clue (and I'm s...

Just re-watched the JJ episode. He definitely is supposed to be "low-end Autistic, Aspergers" as described in an evaluation he reads after coming home from his doctor visit. I don't want to give any spoilers so I will just say that the writers makes sure they hammer in the symptoms. He has "rage inc...

I am guilty of this too. My cats make me feel more calm. I also feel connected to them mentally more than people. I grew up an only child. I was undiagnosed and had a lot of problems at school so I stayed home a lot. Since friends were few and far between, it was only me and my cats. These tendencie...

I've been meaning to, of course. Disability income (back problems) doesn't leave much to help. I want to send money to my local animal rescue league also. I would be happy to work on art & graphics that could be used on items to be sold that would help keep this site running. Alex can contact me...

Incredible! You remind me of me when I dictate my stories into a digital voice recorder. For you to draw that and have it animated with no plan whatsoever... You, my friend, have talent--and imagination and creativity too. Keep drawing; you just made my day. Batz, you flatter me way too much. Still...

Al Frankin used to do a hilarious impression of Robertson back in the early 90's when he ran for US president.
