The first one looks too bland, and the kerning is bad. It looks like the logo for one of those sites that pops up when you mistype a URL. The gradient makes it look cheap, and the font and color choice remind me of The Sims. The font for the second and third logos is much better, although I agree t... |

I certainly recognize that being social brings tremendous benefits and generally makes one's like easier, but it is not something that I am interested in. That means that I must find a way to become completely independent since I won't have anyone to rely on, which is the only major downside. People... |

I haven't been posting lately because I've been very busy exploring other aspects of myself and frequenting other forums. Also, a lot of the topics frequently discussed here no longer capture my interest. I think I'll be a bit more active these next few days, though, as I try to figure more things o... |

I've seen this before. The first time I did not notice the gorilla *and* I miscounted the passes, so I guess that makes me 0 for 2! |

I think it's hilarious that he is called the "inventor" of ADHD. I picture a funny little man tinkering around in his basement with a human brain or something. Then I think of a long line of his colleagues doing similar work, e.g. the "inventors" of cancer, AIDs, schizophrenia, etc. |

It's not really a "process" for me. It is more like a blip on the radar, a single point of data which pops into my mind and then disappears again because I have nothing to do with it. Imagine a audio visualizer ( like this -- clicky ) starting out flat and then jumping up briefly at the mention of t... |

Are there really many clinicians who actively believe this? I wouldn't be surprised to discover that some clinicians suffer from unconscious biases which, for whatever reasons, prevent them from recognizing ASD traits in Black populations. However, I haven't heard any credible clinician explicitly s... |

I understand and have suggested to my father in one of our many philosophical debates the idea of making clothes virtually unavailable in larger sizes, but that was for the sole purpose of forcing this ludicrously obese into a health change. That sounds needlessly cruel. What would they wear while ... |

So like left handed people what tools could help us get through life? The OP did not provide a link to the orginial article, but it sounds like an ASAN quote. The comparision is made to left handed individuals because it's the easiest and most useful comparision. They wer'nt saying that phyiscal to... |

It's difficult to underestimate the importance of social competence. People would often rather have a coworker lacking working skills but whom they like, than a coworker who is great at what they do at work, but who they don't get along with. This is one of the things that frustrates me the most an... |

It seems to be the case that individuals with ASD often have parents that exhibit similar autistic traits. It also seems to be the case that a higher than average amount of parents of autistic individuals are highly educated and have "professional" careers, e.g. scientists, doctors, lawyers, etc. So... |

It's interesting that he says he wants to attract kids that have a "great attitude." I'm pretty sure most kids with great attitudes don't want to be associated with jerks like him. |

The most surprising thing that I learned from this article is that epilepsy is "strongly linked" to autism and that "up to a third" of all autistic people have epilepsy. I've read a lot about autism these past few months and this is the first I've heard of a link between the two conditions. Interest... |

My natural inclination is to be a night owl, but I actually feel better in the morning when I can bring myself to get up that early. It just feels so refreshing. Although as alakazaam said: Dark, less people awake, quiet, and less cars on the streets = Perfect autistic environment. ^ The reason I li... |
