My college has its high points and its low points. One thing I have noticed, though, is that the place is not nearly as accepting as it touts. Academics are good, though, and my best friend goes there, and I'm graduating early, so I can't complain.

Just find what you truly love, and you will be able to put in the effort to be really good at it like you are with languages.

There is a reason for that, too. There are far less women than men on dating sites. Therefore, they have a higher pool to choose from and are allowed to be a lot more picky.

I recently got a PS4 and Playstation Plus (the internet service) to go with it, and I have no friends to add on there. My name on there is TowelieHere . Does anyone want to post their name? I'll add you.

My non-negotiable is that if she's anyone but my best friend, I really don't want her.

I'm not dating her, but there's at some level mutual feelings (it's complicated and weird), but my NT best friend that I'm in love with likes my "different"-ness. She somehow finds the various aspects of my aspergers endearing or cute, especially when I take things literally or get intensely frustra...

I could be totally wrong on this, as my love life has been quite terrible, but the only thing to do really is to continue to be yourself, whoever that is, and do what's right (within the confines of the law, anyway). If neither of you are a fan of public affection, then don't be affectionate in publ...

The sad part is, she probably has no idea that you cared that much. She probably thought, "hmm this is a good casual outing, now onto the next one" without thinking of what she might be doing to you. The only choice here is whether to move on to another girl or stay single.

I don't understand this question. If I'm dating someone, it's going to be someone that I find attractive. As for conventional standards, well, usually the people I date or I'm interested in are considered "not bad" or "cute."

There are some people that died that I miss, like my maternal grandparents. My grandma died in 2008, and my grandpa died in 2013. If there's any type of afterlife, I hope they're together in it. My grandpa spent the last 5 years of his life wanting to die so badly so that he could go see her, so I h...

I'm graduating in two months, and you can bet anything that I will never return to it. That place was an absolute hellhole. I was bullied throughout most of it, every damn teacher knew about it, and no one did a damn thing, no one was on my side. It doesn't deserve my presence any longer than is req...

I'm going to college next year, and I'm experiencing a lot of anxiety over sharing a small living space with someone else and I'm not quite sure whether I can handle it. I'm a person that requires several hours of being completely alone and unwatched a day, and without a certain level of time to rec...

Does anyone else see the similarties between Kim Jong Un and a really bad 1950s sci-fi supervillain? With the way he's threatening the United States, he might as well be exclaiming to us that he has a "magical death ray." He might have two missiles, but we have enough to destroy the world multiple t...

Thatcher was utterly disguting, essentially the female version of Reagan. They both had the same policies, and both had major recessions two times in their tenure. The working class declined under her while the rich prospered. Sure, she stuck to her convictions, but plenty of terrible leaders stuck ...

I miss this fling I had back last summer. Her name was Emilie. She is so far the last girl I truly liked as a person, not just tried to attach myself to because I was lonely and wanted to seek out a relationship for proof that I was good enough to be in one.
