Thanks for the replies. What you guys are saying makes sense. Now I suppose it's just a matter of finding someone I trust enough... |

Touch is viewed almost universally as a bonding mechanism between individuals. In most cases, I cannot stand being touched, and as a result, yet another layer of difficulty forming connections with others is created. The thing is, I know why I don't like being touched: I view the vast majority of in... |

Reading the OP, I can't find any evidence that this guy is obviously able to provide for himself. If you pay attention to only the facts, you see a rather severe disability. He doesn't leave the house, can't use soap to bathe, is so attached to his bed that he can't have it replaced even though the... |

Autistic people are "dependent on other people" their whole lives (and, for that matter, so are neurotypicals, though we don't consider it unusual when an NT depends on another NT to build his house or grow his food). Autism is a disability. Just because some of us can live on our own doesn't mean ... |

I'm kind of concerned with all the people who are saying to just leave him alone.
Really? I'm sure he's happy and all, but he's 28. He can't be dependent on other people for his entire life. |

I wish I had the type of body to get a mastectomy. Since I'm curvy, it'd look really weird if I was flat. :/ |

The thing is, I'm fairly certain this isn't really an account of someone's recurring dream, just a carefully constructed narrative. This is evidenced by the (major, in some cases) discrepancies between both tellings. I don't know, though. It's just so imaginative, and it's evoked this wonder and fas... |

I'm re-posting this from another forum I frequent. I wanna see what you guys think. === I was browsing /x/ one day and someone mentioned something about an anon who had something to do with a foundry or something like that. I googled it and I found a thread in the archives. Sadly, it had a few gaps.... |

What kind of hallucinations, is it you seeing things wrong out of the corner of your eye or is it seeing something which isn't there in your clear vision? They're usually in the corner of my eye, but they're very, very vivid. Occasionally, my mind will also distort things I cannot see clearly. Anot... |

I don't think I'm schizophrenic or delusional or anything major like that. However, I have been experiencing auditory and visual hallucinations (they usually only last a moment), and I'm constantly afraid of people (specifically serial killers) and supernatural creatures attacking me. It occurs main... |

Housekeeping at a hotel or office might be a good solution. They tend not to work around a lot of people. Ooh, interesting. I was thinking it'd be fine to work in a restaurant or whatever so long as I didn't have to deal with customers, and becoming a cleaner of some kind sounds like just the oppor... |
