Why is it bad to ask a pregnant teenager if she is getting an abortion when she tells you she is pregnant? "So are you getting an abortion?" I think because people get really heated about abortion as they believe it to be a moral issue. People also often see a foetus as a baby already and have stro...

Why is it inappropriate to correct a teacher? My teachers would get really annoyed with me when I pointed out an error, even if they corrected it later, but I've always thought it's better for someone to point it out than the whole class be taught something that wasn't correct. I think they thought ...

I have real difficulty recognising faces of people I don't see very often or whose faces I haven't "studied" due to either closeness or pictures being readily available online. For example, I was staying with my uncle some time ago and he organised to pick me up in town. A car pulled up and I greete...

I'm obsessed with some book covers, especially when embossing and/or the transition between gloss and matte are present. Fabrics and furry/fluffy things are my downfall, though. I always end up touching things when I'm shopping for clothes with my girlfriend, or when we go to the fabric shop to get ...

Hello, mikassyna, I'm new here as well. I've read quite a few posts in this section of the forums, and when someone posts a really long post to introduce themselves, noxnocture here has reacted. I think that's just her natural reaction. (By the way, I don't mean to offend you, noxnocturne. I'm just...

(Responding in English because I take that to be your native language) I grew up with these :) I've found a large number of DVD's here . A company called Club Eve was planning to release all of the episodes back in 2006. I believe they are also responsible for these ones, but I couldn't find a compl...

I rant about gender equality a lot, politics, and my (negative) feelings on the religious institution whose doctrine my mother follows. Also grammar when I know people aren't going to make fun of me.

If I get given a string of commands, I end up only remembering the one I spent the most time trying to focus on (usually the first and/or the last).

I do the same thing re: 3D textures. Same issue when there are books lying around that have the matte/glossy covers, I have to watch myself or I can spend forever touching the cover and sliding my finger over where the matte turns into the glossy texture. Don't have conversations with me near a book...

Hi, I'm new here and I'm trying to figure out if I'm on the autistic spectrum. When I was growing up, I exhibited a lot of the signs, but I don't think my parents picked up on that stuff because of lack of education. If they did, they haven't told me. As I met people on the autism spectrum, I realis...
