The only cure for autism is to die and be born again as non-autistic. Like really. I would be 100% a different person if I was "cured" of autism. My entire personality would change. I'm just not sure if I could handle it, but I'm sure many people, including myself, would really like an idealistic s... |

The problem is that in order to make sense of things, humans have a both useful and awful habit of categorizing things. This also applies to sexuality. For example, there's a show that I watch and a character made a comment about how societal biases codify attraction. Well, she was right. When she ... |

When I came out to my best friends, they said it didn't change how they thought about me or saw me at all. I'm still their friend and gay, bi, trans, whatever; they'd accept me. When coming out to my 18 year old sister, she was thrilled for me as she always suspected that I was/ am a lesbian and she... |

I'm what I can best describe as "mildly bisexual". I am attracted mostly to women but do experience occasional attraction towards men. However, I don't experience a romantic connection with men so I don't date them at all. |

My advice would be not to concern yourself with labels right now. Yes, they can make such a complex and confusing thing as sexuality seem less overwhelming, but it's so complicated that sometimes it's best just to become more familiar with what you're attracted to and figure out what you identify as... |

I applied for a job at a country club as a waitress. I've been working there 4 days a week (when I'm not there I'm in school) and I honestly think this is one of the worst decisions I've ever made. I interact well with the club members and I rarely make mistakes on my orders, but it's so incredibly ... |

A guy I had a crush on in high school called me a "dumb@$$" for not picking up on his "very obvious" flirtatious cues. |

It seems that when I am PMSing or on my period my sensory issues worsen. I don't know if this is really the case or if they seem to because I pay more attention to my body during that time. I also am more likely to experience emotional overload. Does anyone else experience this? If so please share a... |

I have been around horses my whole life and in recent years people have begun noticing that I have a certain "connection" with them, particularly the horses that are afraid of most people. My grandfather, who might also be an Aspie, has been training horses for a long time and he calls this "The Tou... |

I use repetitive hand gestures a lot. For example, I usually use the same gesture when saying a particular word. I "talk with my hands" so much that my family has threatened to used duct tape to stick my hands to my sides. |

It depends on how obsessed with gender stereotypes the man is If he needs the woman to look sufficiently like a woman, as signified by a 'feminine' hair style, then he's going to always prefer long hair I don't see how having short hair is any less feminine. Women have been rocking short hairdos fo... |
