Considering the fact that no question was posed, but rather an observation or rumination was posted, I shall do likewise. I am a gay guy. I never chose to be emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually attracted to other males. This is simply who I am and always have been. It is the most natur...

I am going through this situation with a friend right now. We met each other and really clicked. Great communication. Simple and easy for a change. Started hanging out quite a bit, weekends, dinner during the week. Emails and phone calls. Kind of built our friendship over the last 5 months. Spent al...

Hello, Gay guy here, not sure about the whole gaydar thing. I know what other people think gay looks like? I know what desire looks like though, and can clue into that pretty quick. You can tell when that interest is there. It is a combination of several things all at once. Though I'm talking about ...

I enjoy reading all the differing opinions on this topic. In my life, I refuse to engage in the why and the "how come" of my sexual orientation. The fact remains that I like guys, always have, always will. One of my brothers once asked me how did I know I was gay? I had never dated a girl nor had se...

I think those are valid points. I have found that my direct and literal speak helps me get past the barriers of the subtle nuance that many rely on in the LGBT community. Since I do not "present" as a gay guy, I have found direct communication to be an asset. "Do you date guys?" is always a good que...

Hello, I could not find a way to search this forum, but wanted to open a dialogue with any other gay AS people there may be here. Is this relatively rare in our community? (being gay and AS) How do you cope/benefit with dating NT's? Was your coming out process or life path helped or hindered by your...

I served in the US Navy Submarine Force for 6 years. My AS was a non-issue to my recruiter and subsequent doctors at MEPS. It was a great controlled environment for me and I had a blast. Now going through college on the GI Bill. You must first find out if you are ready for a career term in the milit...
