| Depression and anxiety aren't autism though are they. People could say Epilepsy is a disorder of the mind but it still isn't a mental illness. |

| How could autism be a mental illness or psychiatric disorder when it is neurological. Epilepsy is neurological. |

| In know people with Aspergers Syndrome or High functioning Autism have scored mild to moderate for the Autism criteria, done by a professional. That is true. I know a person with Aspergers Syndrome probably scored severe on an autism scale. Maybe some people with Aspergers Syndrome don't score enoug... |

| I've seen children with Aspergers Sydrome flap their hands like a bird. I've also seen children with just a diagnose of autism, do this also especially when they are upset or excited about something. I havnt noticed children with out this diagnosis do this.
