It is interesting because i live in the UK so we have the nhs, which means getting a diagnosis is free (although t does require probally years worth on waiting list to see someone from camhs) So from i can tell it does not change in terms of class. In fact i got a scholarship to a private school whe...

Hi there. Sorry it's kind of a late response. You're lucky, did you know that? When you changed schools, you made new friends, and friendship is one of the most important things to have. When I switched colleges, I ended up at a place where I didn't really know anyone, and no one was really interes...

new situations, crowds, changing plans I have already made. Being told off, I'm not really why but being told I have done something really upsets me ever since I was young even if I'm told really nicely I have made a small error I get so nervous and feel really horrible.

I have to agree with a lot of these. Especially ones about social skills, I use to think social skills meant being polite, and generous now I know it is not but unfortunately I still don't understand how to obtain social skills. I also use to think empathy was being compassionate, I now understand w...

That isn't how I remember that book...Charlie gains the intelligence and is relatively happy, but then discovers that it will not last and he will go back to the way he was before, and that process, which he is aware of as it's happening, devastates him. So the morality question is was it right to ...

I do think however that the answer will be x+y+(x*y) where x=y because 575 is 23+23+(23*23)

Has anyone read flowers of algernon? In this book a mentally ret*d man is cured of his retardation and he suddenly becomes extremely intelligent. But he was happier before the surgery that "cures" I would suggest that for anyone who has strong opinions about a cure for autistism. It deals alot with ...

I actually thought Brian Cox made a better Hannibal than Anthony Hopkins did. Me too. Hopkins is a freak right from the beginning, but Cox seems like a kindly old uncle, and you only gradually realize that something is very wrong. Hopkins gloats in his evilness, while Cox seems right at home, almos...

I love horror movies, and I can say with all certainty, that there is good horror and bad horror. The horror flicks that I consider bad are those virtually plot-less, high body count 1980's slasher flicks, such as the Friday The 13th franchise, and other films much less well remembered. I don't min...

I have registered on wrong planet because I really need advice and help. I was recently diagnosed with high functioning autism. In August I moved house 3 and 1/2 hours away from where I use to live. So I changed schools. I loved my last school, in yr 7 and 8 I did not have many friends but in yr 9 I...
