When this first occurred, I told my family, “Welcome to my world”. For me, autism is neurological and and not a personality disorder. We may seem to have same behaviors, but it’s caused by neurological disturbances. If I were NT, I would be an introvert. Now, add the autism, and I usually self isola...

I would write an anonymous letter to the Human Resources department saying that so and so is sexually harassing the males in the job ( she is), and that you expect something done as soon as possible. Never tell anyone and especially him that you sent such letter. Whether or not he’s having an affair...

I would wash Friday because you aren’t going shopping as you normally do, so that means you can take your time to hang out the clothes slowly. Maybe, hang out tops first, go inside and drink water, then go back out and do bottoms, go inside and go to the bathroom, go back outside and do intimate clo...

It’s hard. Don’t do anything you are passionate about because we get obsessive and fixated about things. How about a grocery stocker and work at midnight? Or Amazon as a packer? Library has a lot of Aspies so you blend in well. Part time in an after care program — kids don’t care but it’s loud , so ...

:? First, I think, “what am I doing here?” It’s like when you WANT to jump from a high trampoline into a pool but are feeling sick and nervous. Then, I have to remind myself smile the others are smiling. “Do I say something now?”, I’m thinking. Then, when they begin their little chit chats and act c...

Welcome to the club— or should I say- OUR WORLD. In this world, EVERYTHING you are experiencing is the norm for us. Just relax and do your best , exercise, drink water, eat healthy and MEDITATE. If it gets too tough you can try some meds, as well. Oh and keep earplugs handy for sensory overload, tho...

It makes me feel awkward. Worse yet, when they are being overly affectionate using words like sweety and dear, it makes me feel disgusted.

Yes! Positive. The more you do it, the better you feel. It does rewire your brain according to Science. I just don't do it everyday, I get sidetrack. No excuse because there are Apps and videos and classes everywhere - even in You Tube. Loads of workshops everywhere , I'm going to this one on Saturd...

I think this is working. Unlike meds, that relax the bodily symptoms so you feel better. This natural remedy works the mind. Its hard to explain. I feel thoughts are flowing easier so there isnt any anxiety. Anyway, it doesn't have side effects, so you can experiment with them if you so desire.

Everything is falling...because its autumn! So leap with glee into those colors. Lay back and gaze at the reds orange yellows and greens. Give them a smile because you know their secret. Chaos or not , you will milk this time, that's been handed to you, without a frown. It will float, gently, to you...

8O Do I have everyone's permission to say this? I believe that we are unable to be cruel. We may be interpreted as cruel, maybe? However, never can we abuse an animal or child or anyone weak! If this is so, then we are compassionate beings. Something that neurotypicals strive to achieve. After unabl...

In order to control, not rid, my HIGH anxiety, I eliminated sodas and caffeine. I do have decaf coffee in the mornings with 12.5 dose of Paxil. That's it. Sometimes, I'll have a Diet and caffeine free Pepsi. The sodium will kill me, so I have like 2 ounces. I've noticed that cantaloupes relax me rig...

I think I would feel happier if I didnt feel for people sometimes. It just takes me over the top. I've just signed up for a medit...
