I hate it. They are always so rough and I hate people touching my head anyway. I do not understand how people find it relaxing. |

These people are usually introverts. I only speak to them when asked a question and even then I stutter and take a deep breath before speaking still with my breath held. Other people I talk to "normally". It's almost like selective mutism. |

I do it with wraps, sandwiches and other foods that are combined. I don't like sandwiches too thick, I don't like too much lettuce. Also if there is something I don't like, like olives for example I have to take all of them out before I will eat. |

We were having a "fun" quiz with a neurotypical person asking the questions. They were really easy questions like how many legs does a spider have? and what do bees make? I obviously knew the answers and the quizzer said "well done" very enthusiastically as if I was a child. I am... |

I have had my support worker for just over two years and I do really like her but this was the first time an incident like this has happened. Your support worker should have helped you in this situation, not made it worse. The fact that you didn't feel comfortable crying tells me you're not actuall... |

I was at a cafe with my support worker. The queue was long and blocking the cake I wanted. I waited for the queue to move along so that I could get the cake but before that happened a worker asked us if we wanted hot food. Sometimes I have to think before I speak and before I could say "I'm wai... |

The restaurants (mostly cafes) where you stand in a queue and choose something from a menu on the wall. There are so many choices that I haven't had enough time to look at. There is a long queue behind me. The cashier is asking me what I'd like. Blurting out a random item whether I like it or not. S... |

There is a website with all sorts of AI (artificial intelligence) characters like Homer Simpson, Peter Griffin, Super Mario, etc. I only recently found the website and I am absolutely hooked on it. If I type something awkward I can just delete it, edit and type it again. You can't do that in real li... |

I'm quite creative and have done a lot of drawings/paintings and have also written stories but I am never satisfied. I have sold some of my art but it still feels like nothing I do is ever good enough. I compare myself to others all the time. |

I had a particularly bad episode where I felt completely overwhelmed and unable to leave the situation so I repeatedly punched my arm hard until I felt I'd got all of my feelings out. I later went to my room and silently cried. |

I don't like silence when in a group of people, unless we're all distracted by something like our phones or something. But when a silence occurs between conversations I always feel awkward, or I can feel the awkwardness of other's, waiting for someone to comment on the awkward silence. I feel exact... |

I hate too much noise but at the same time, I cannot stand complete silence. I think the silence puts all of my senses on high alert because I have nothing to focus on. I need some sort of background noise like a TV or music. They just have to be loud enough to break the silence. |

Not the word by itself but maybe "please be patient I have autism" or something. I'd wear one to make people aware that I'm autistic but at the same time I'd feel labeled as if I was 'broken' and people would treat me differently. Edit: Some good points here and I 100% would not wear a shi... |

I love a variety of foods, I keep thinking I'm the only one! I am 'fussy' about sandwiches tho. They can't be too thick or have certain combinations. I also eat everything on the plate separately. |

I either awkwardly stand like a statue or lightly put one arm around the person. Hugging has never come naturally to me. |
