I'm trying to follow these exercises: http://sbinfocanada.about.com/od/speakforsuccesscourse/a/speechlesson3.htm to fix my monotone voice and hopefully also give myself more inflections. Enunciation isn't really much of a problem, and I don't have any lisp or stuttering problem.. I believe the other... |

Does anyone here have experience of successfully changing their monotonal voice? I would like to hear any success stories or tips, tricks etc.
My personal goal is to sing well, but I would also like to have a good sounding voice when I converse with people. |

flirting, I strongly dislike playful flirting between guys and girls, and doing any playful flirting myself. So much so I avoid doing it at all costs. But it seems it's something I need to do if I want to have any friendships with girls, or get into a relationship with a girl.. Am I the only person ... |

Well first Devilkisses I believe this is the wrong place for you to be. I've lurked around on these forums enough to figure out that the majority of the posters here are people who are, what I will call, accepting of their aspieness. They also are the type of people who think "well this person has t... |

I'm currently reading "how to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnagie. In chapter 2 he discusses about how everyone wants to have a feeling of importance. It falls under a type of hierarchy of needs. Like a need to impress or feel acceptance. It is summed up as "a feeling of importance" A... |

I might be slowly accepting the fact I am an extremely high functioning aspie guy. Now there's an issue with someone who is either equally high functioning or a tad bit lower functioning aspie girl. We had a class together. I was attracted to her, confessed to her, rejected by her, tried to become h... |

Before you read on I honestly do not mean to offend anyone, if anyone feels offended I apologize ahead of time. If a mod thinks I can get the same message across and obtain the answers I'm looking for feel free to edit my words. I was told of possibly having it. Consequently I was invited to a colle... |

An answer to a confused thought I read on page 1: Empathy is feeling the same way as another person. It's what you give a friend. example 1: My dog just died. He was my best friend and brother. I'm crying about it like a little baby. I want you to cry about it too. example 2: You(being my bf/gf) jus... |

"I only like to talk to people who share my special interests" I know normal autistic people have one specific special interest and usually talk about that etc and probably do not like talking about other things..But isn't in nor... |

A few people have suggested that I might have a very mild form of it. Well first I'll just admit that I'm not comfortable at all with the thought of having a type of disorder. I'm an adult well into my 20's. The reason as to why this is a sore subject is due to childhood issues of dealing with other... |
