| I think he might be a candidate for AS. One my guitars is tuned to his "New Standard Tuning." The tuning is totally based off the logic of the tunings that classical string instruments use. |

| Try picking, only with your wrist or buy some extremely light picks. Try strumming chords, and not playing single note runs. That might break your habit. Although, in heavier music genres, being a "heavy hitter," is a good quality. |
