I know someone (NT) who has a manipulative ex husband that keeps going on and off being nice then being a jerk and making her pay his bills. I have told her countless times that she should be suing for child care costs and child support, but she just doesn't seem to want to do it. I even offered to ...

She was upset. She told me her father was found unconscious and dying. She was crying. I felt empathetic, but d...

I shower every day because if I don't, I feel dirty and itchy. I have a physically demanding job and work in a dusty warehouse so I also keep my hair really short so it is easy to wash and doesn't get itchy. I also wear deodorant every day since I do not like to smell like BO.

In the closet....my boss accepts my quirks and oddities...there is no need to slap a label on myself in full view of the whole branch. The stigma from the label could potentially make people lose respect for me.

My boss started out as a teachers aid but due to the lack of experience issue and having the door slammed in his face, he walked away and went into parts. He is now the parts manager.it seems to be the norm up here in Alberta......study, get a degree, have the door slammed in your face due to lack o...

After years of not working due to my child not getting on in childcare (asd and adhd), I got accepted as a stand-in classroom support at a special school. After only a couple of weeks they told the agency they don't want me anymore. They said I was great with the kids but lacked classroom experienc...

Tight clothing and certain materials make me uncomfortable to the point where I don't want to do anything and get all cranky. This is one of the reasons I don't wear nylon stockings or tights. Bits of lint in my socks and sometimes the seams are uncomfortable and distracting.....mostly the cheap wa...

I have this one courier driver who seems to detect something is "off" about me. She seems to have this inclination to talk down to me like I am slow. Nobody at work knows about me being on the spectrum and they treat me the same as everyone else. They know they can rely on me to get their parts ship...

I'd rather work....if it were on a Saturday, I'd even ask the parts director to authorize me to work overtime on the Saturday of such a reunion so I could then tell my former classmates that I chose working extra over seeing them again. ........Or I'd bring my friend from the Calgary branch, the par...
