I don't find it hard (especially since I wear dark clothes almost exclusively). The challenge is getting around to it often enough so that I don't run out of clothes.

I was somewhat of an expert at arranging appointments during PE so I wouldn't have to go. I hated it, absolutely hated it.

Actually, while hiking in the Tahoe area, I came across a sign that said that I was entering a plague infested area, warning me to stay away from rodents, and urging me to bring the subject up with my doctor if I ended up ill afterwards. Suffice it to say nothing happened (and if something would hav...

Personally, I think the District of Columbia ought to be abolished as it is an antebellum relic. Let Maryland and Virginia have it (they ceded the territory for it, anyway): that way, it won't upset the balance of power in the Senate that much. The Federal buildings can remain under the formal juris...

I have tried to develop a way of viewing people which is not connected to their age (though I don't think I've quite gotten it down yet). This mainly flows from patterns of interest; ie. I prefer to have a meaningful conversation with someone much younger than me on a topic of interest (or of past i...

I just wanted to add (other than that I think you should let a doctor take a look at it) that corticosteroids are not the way to go if it's a bacterial or viral thing. They'll only supress the immune system.

I recently went through a Dowland "phase" and obtained lots of his music. I would like to be able to play his lute pieces on guitar, but they're far beyond my ability either now or probably ever; very, very difficult. I have all the Sibelius symphonies in two different recordings, but though I resp...

I do. Most of my work is crap, though occasionally it contains a good idea or two. It serves two purposes: entertainment (writing poetry is fun), and introspection (writing poetry helps me do that more effectively).

*Raises hand*

Presently, I mainly listen to Sibelius, Dowland and Vaughan Williams, but that is subject to change. I tend to go to concerts once every couple of months (there's an excellent venue for such things in my town).

I really like Shakespeare, but I do think his work is meant to be seen, or at the very least read aloud. Among my favourites would be Hamlet, Julius Caesar, Macbeth, Richard III and Henry V.

I also have a tendency to quote Shakespeare at length when stressed out/when intoxicated.

Hi everyone!

Well, as the title implies: I'm new. I have a tendency to lurk on forums, but, after being diagnosed recently, I figured I'd sign up for this one as I might have something to add every now and then.

Whenever I'm traveling, I'm typically the first in my group (if I am in a group) to start using the local language. I'd speculate I do so out of necessity, as I'm rather bad at communicating 'with hands and feet'. The latter has to do with AS, of course.
