I called my BF once "baby" in public, and he replied "don't call me that". It was a little bit embarrassing but I appreciate the honesty at least. Maybe you should go to the doctor to find exactly what is going on. I did not find out until 2 years ago that I am bipolar and it sucks big time. I hope you feel better.
