I am just a distraction. I DO NOT BELONG HERE. I used to think that I would do something in the future that was fantastic. Just last year I genuinely felt that I could make a real Iron man suit. I drew up drawings and sketched everything out. The Iron man suit is all that I could talk about. Now I r... |

My mom doesn't care because she thinks that I am not doing as much as I can to get better. She doesn't understand that from the second I wake up to the second I go to sleep, I am thinking about how to avoid bad smells, perfumes, shampoos, smoke, etc. I used to wake up in the morning and be excited a... |

The medication is Venlafaxine XR (Effexor XR). The reason that I don't want to take it is because I lose all of my thoughts. I can no longer concentrate on anything, and my memory is HORRIFIC. My mom said that she doesn't care what happens anymore because I had such a hard time in school last year t... |

Hey. I have no idea what to do. My problem with the smells has been getting worse, I am more scared than ever of taking my medicine, and my mom doesn't really seem to care what I do (If I leave or not). I might run away. I was thinking that I could spend the night in a little grassy area where nobod... |

The artificial smells bother me the most as well. I can't imagine not being bothered by them considering they are so potent to me. I haven't talked to my sister for 2 weeks now because I refuse to go near her and I am angry at her. |

You guys tend to think that I have no Idea what correlation and causation are. I am aware of the fact that they are not equal, which is why I made an effort to mention that in my post. " For example a country that can afford 54 reactors (Japan) will have more money to study autism than, for example,... |

I feel as if I will have a permanent problem. Some sort of problem with my body or my mind. This is kind of ironic considering that, if I were to have a permanent problem, this would be it. When I am in the moment, I feel like I would do anything to get out. I have even hurt myself over this because... |

I have a bit of a theory that autism may have to do with the nuclear radiation levels. This may not be causation, but it seems the countries with the highest nuclear power plant density are also the ones with the most autism. Also, Japan has a very high rate of autism, perhaps from the power plants ... |

I am extremely sensitive to smells! I can't even go downstairs right now because my sister used shampoo with a strong scent 7 hours ago. |

Hey guys. I have been having severe problems with hypersensitivity to smells. I am also afraid of toxins to the point of avoiding them at ALL COSTS. We have found a medicine that should help called Effexor XR (Venlafaxine Extra-Release/XR). I am so scared of it hurting me that I will not take it. My... |

Yeah. I have my windows open as much as I can. Even when I know thing aren't dangerous, I am still prone to avoid them. It's pretty scary. I have a very hard time in school (that luckily just ended) because kids wear a lot of fragrances and we are all in the same room. Yesterday I has the worst pani... |

Hey guys! I have been really struggling with being very sensitive to smells for a while now, to the point where it's really ruining my life. I am mostly worried about perfumes, shampoos, carbon from fires and sulfides from foods. Everytime I smell one of these things I feel as if it is going to harm... |
