"Happy Holidays" is useful in a retail/business environment since it doesn't alienate any consumer base. The ultimate goal of a business is to make as much money as humanly possible, so it pays not to offend anyone. That's why businesses and the media are perceived to be "politically correct". They... |

How did you work your way up through the job market and worked at various levels? What do you mean by this? What were your specific methods and techniques? How did you determine the hierarchy? What exactly is your career? This is why I had to give up and claim disability. To me, the workplace of to... |

The only people that are for real flipping their sh** over what holiday greetings you use is Christians getting mad at Happy Holidays. So by this, it logically follows that the person who created this thread is, by your definition, a Christian getting mad at Happy Holidays. That seems a bit strange... |

I took my 5 year old daughter to it over the weekend. I thought it was pretty good overall. Here's some comments I have about it... - The two princesses Ana and Ilsa were great, no real complaints there. Really solid voice acting there, and they had enough character to feel like fairly complex chara... |

A Christian getting told "Happy Holidays" is not the equivalent to a non-Christian (read: Jewish, Muslim) getting told "Merry Christmas". You're right, it's actually much worse. The problem here is when non-religous people are going around trying to tell religious people what they should or shouldn... |

It would never have occurred to me that one had to have salesman ship type skills in order to obtain a job. There would be no way that I could research this out since the requirement was made known to me until a certain time period in my life. It never would have occurred to me to even ask question... |

The thing is I have more questions than actual answers. How can I truthfully provide constructive suggestions when I know there are things that I do not know that I do not know? The main thing I desire is simply to understand. I know not nor understand not. The more I attempt to understand the more... |

http://www.youtern.com/thesavvyintern/index.php/2011/09/29/employers-your-job-postings-suck-part-i-2/ Look at what Eric Woodard says. What he is saying is to accept things as they are in the workplace. Basically, what it means is to conform and capitulate without question. This doesn't just apply t... |

I not sure if this is directly related or not, but in the past I've often wondered about a philosophical question pertaining to whether the Christian God exists within the bounds of time or not. The question comes about because if God is limited by the timeline, then it seems that he he couldn't hav... |

It sounds like a pretty cool idea to me. I've played a few games with actual real historical characters in them, and I've always found it entertaining when games do that (though they rarely do). And I've played visual novel games, and think the format would probably be very suitable for what you're ... |

I think Willard's right. As Brian has been pretty much the mouthpiece of Seth McFarlane's views over the last 7 or so years, I consider it likely they'll reintroduce him, maybe as early as the next episode. 'Stewie Kills Lois'/'Lois Kills Stewie' also incoprorated some shock value twists, though th... |

Based on the thread title I was expecting more talk of holodeck shenanigans here... though I suppose technically those are probably more just ridiculous/nonsensical than inconsistent/hypocritical. |

Man, looking over this thread makes me seem a lot less picky than I thought I was, lol. I think that most actors can be good in certain roles, but it becomes annoying to me when an actor is put into roles they aren't suited for. Tom Cruise is a good example. I actually don't mind him when he's playn... |

My impression so far is that some do demonstrate memory. You have some interesting ideas about this, but let me say why I don't think the zomies have memories from when they were alive. What I do think is that the zombies have some animalistic instincts, and maybe aren't all exactly the same, and m... |

One thing I found very interesting is there seems to be a lot of hate towards the grass starters, particularly Chikorita . Kind of sad, because I actually happen to like quite a few of them... Mine is already painfully obvious, but I'm curious to hear yours. I actually almost always choose the gras... |
