I have noticed that I'm what you would call a "sensitive" or "nice guy", and my mom says I practically "came that way". As a kid I would turn on the waterworks at the drop of a hat, in fact, some bad real life drama, sad movies and romance still get me. When something bad happens, I feel as bad as t... |

1. As a little boy, I remember being absolutely terrified of going into certain places. Grocery stores, schools, and so on. Small, plainer looking places were never a worry, but the bigger or "worn" the place was, the worse. Big gymnasiums/rooms full of iron beams and support trusses for reinforceme... |

I kind blame it on my upbringing, but I could never hurt a fly. Violence doesn't solve anything, never has, never will. I usually try either ignore the issue, turn it into a joke and laugh it off, or use a verbal counter if it's a person. Some kind of a peaceful approach instead of needless violenc... |

It's a feeling of shyness and being timid. I feel like I'm on the spot, all attention is directed at me. By not looking the person in the eye, it's a bit less stressful. |

I find forums like this somewhat good for practice, in addition to studying and reading books on socializing and such. I used to be a bit more shy in the past, but now since improving, I still often times freeze up or feel guilt or embarrassment for sometimes not being able to think on my feet. A us... |

I have trained myself not to do it publicly, but I get lost in thought or excited, I flap my arms/hands, rock back and forth, run about the room, or hit my head against something repeatedly. (though I have been able to drop the latter completely, thank goodness. =P ) |

Unless it's something huge, I try not to let things bother me. There are times when I am angry or sad, though, which can get the better of me. (Having mild depression is a bummer)
I am more irked when people "sugarcoat" things, though. |

My jokes are mostly terribly corny and just get eyerolls, though there have been quite a few exceptions.
I often get a good laugh from others, sometimes I simply laugh along to lighten my mood and be a good sport. A sense of humor is a good quality in a person IMO. |

"Remember that a person's name is to them the sweetest and most important sound in any language." - Dale Carnegie
But I will agree that it does get slightly annoying after a while if you ask me. |

Hello. I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome back in my mid-teens. While doing some Autism research, I stumbled across this site and figured it would make for some interesting conversation, being able to connect with other people with Autism/Asperger's, maybe help some people, and get some advice... |
