But truthfully, the best response to give outsiders when you want to just say "yeah I know I'm good", is to say "thank you for noticing, I spent a LOT of time practicing.", with a tone of sincere appreciation and enthusiasm (you may need to practice this). Two suggestions: 1. Create task lists, that you can cross off one right after the other. In fact, you can take it a step further and break your tasks into smaller tasks. You can also think outside the box on this. Things like a personal assistant or "gopher", where you are around them but do not necessarily do the same work. Depends on what type of work you feel best suits you and meets your wants and needs. |
