Maigheo, I have been like that a lot of my life and still am. Its an awful feeling but sometimes you just cant help it.

I haven't met anyone with Aspergers in real life yet but I'm hoping to eventually. I can imagine though that it would in theory be easier for two people with Aspergers to get on with each other as they will both be able to understand how each other thinks and how their mind works etc

Hi innocence

I'm Chris, 26, also from the UK. I was diagnosed with Aspergers about a year and a half ago.

I wasn't sure about joining a site like this at first but now I have I think its a great place for people like us to meet/chat etc

Hi Adam I'm Chris It took me a long time to pluck up the courage to join this site (and another) as I wasn't sure how things would go, if you understand what I mean. I'm not sure why though to be honest cos typically it should be easier for people with AS to talk online than it would be in person. D...

Hi Anita

I live in Bradford but work in Yeadon near Leeds/Bradford Airport. My granddad lives in York so I know a fair bit of Yorkshire, not many places like it in the UK
