Im in my 40s and still sometimes get the hands mixed up on a clock! When my aspie son was about 6 yo his grandmother was trying to teach to read a clock . Hi Welcome to wp ! Somebody shoud make a sign or t-shirt that says that. And they can make one that says" Yes, I am a bad mom " and the ever populer " No I actually can't control my kid" lol Then well meaning peple would keep thier advice to themselves. Hang in there! |

My son was on riperdone a couple of years ago . The kid gained about 30 lbs in 4-5 months . I keep telling the Dr. he said it was ok. When I swithed Drs. Welcome Your story sounds so familar to mine . Many drs. nothiong wrong Im a bad parent ect. It took his 2nd grade teacher to say I think he has Aspergers. She gave me a copy of symptons and I coulld have just put my sons name at the top of the paper. It fit exactly. I know its frustrating but half ... |

Thanks Beauty. I acually bribed him to try left handed and it wasnt much worse than his regular. It looked alot better than my left handed (which looks like a 1st grader).My daughter who is also an aspie is a lefty but can write a little with her right.I wonder if there is an aspie preference or a h... |

Thank you everyone for confirming my suspicion! My 11 yo son has this problem. He will verbally give a elaborate answer and then he will write it down and use like 5 words. The school is really pushing for him to write more . We set it in his IEP. Thats all well and fine but then a crazy thing happe... |
