Absolutely, definitely yes. For me, it's especially true for sound issues. |

I can use scissors with either hand. Was born a leftie, then my parents tried to re-train me (which was common in my country at that time). As a result, I use different hands for different actions. For example, writing and eating with my right hand, but drawing with my left one. And there are some t... |

Yep, same here. Awkward pose and blank (or just stupid) face expression. Also I'm often the one who blinks at the wrong time. All in all, I hate being photographed. |

I would be extremely bad in such an environment. Having to constantly react and adapt to new tasks and orders and prioritizing stuff would be unbearable. On the other hand, I tend to react well to stressful situations that arise in my (otherwise quite peaceful) work, things like deadlines, complex ... |

Actually, I’m not a parent, but I’m asking this question on behalf of my friend who doesn’t speak English. She has a 4.2 years old daughter, officially diagnosed with ASD. The girl is verbal, but she never uses gestures (nodding, pointing at objects etc.). When her mother tries to teach it to her, s... |

I feel uncomfortable when people call me by name. And I also have trouble with calling others by their names.

I can reate to that a lot. |

I like intelligent humor. Not 'below the waist' or 'cake in the face' humor. I like intelligent jokes.
At the same time, I really hate pranks and don't understand most of them. |

Most NTs don’t understand what sensory issues are, because they’ve never experienced something like that. Quite recently I’ve found a good analogy (I think) that helps explain sensory issues to NTs. It worked with my friends, so I thought I’d share it with you, in case it could help someone else. Th... |

Musical notes are colored for me. Or sometimes whole melodies. Letters (interestingly, only consonants) also have distinctive colors for me. |

Recently I was analyzing my own childhood and noticed a few things. As a child, I loved to draw and drew a lot - but I never drew people. Only animals or other things. I never tried to draw those “Mum and Dad and I” pictures that many children do. I used to make up a lot of stories (and drew picture... |

I have the same problem too. People often think I'm angry when I'm not.
It's difficult for me to control my intonations and convey subtle emotions with my voice.
At the same time, I'm quite good at identifying other people's tone of voice. It's just my own voice that gives me trouble. |
