I'm down with Kent, although I don't know that particular album, plus obviously it can't function on quite the same level for me because I don't understand any of the words  I'm not that well versed in their music, but I remember I listened to Vapen & Ammunition all the time in like 03 and... |

Anyhow, I'm just trying to find a company that will actually pay me enough to live on for what I do which is complicated, constantly changing, requires a slew of specialized skill sets and talents, and is worth a living wage and more imho. Hopefully you'll find a company that appreciates your skill... |

Vespertine by Björk. Had some difficulties at first with Björks style of singing, it sounded a bit artsy and annoying. But friends at studio kept playing her and I gradually got used to her voice. Her music is the opposite of what I thought electronic music was about, monotony, minimalism and lack o... |

I never graduated college, I'm in my mid 30s and just (hopefully!) starting a career (anyone need a back end web developer?), I don't exactly get special treatment when it comes to getting work and getting paid what I'm worth, I'm pretty much invisible and unimportant, and I have yet to make enough... |

I read somewhere that girls can get worse after they hit puberty, something makes Aspergers features more strong. I remember starting to feel very tired and also depressed during the high school years. Would be interesting to learn more about that phase and why it happens. Never heard about that ..... |

Alwaystomorrow, hopefully you'll find a version with subtitles soon. But guess you can understand parts of it without them? Melted my heart, when Martin told the new police guy not to confuse Saga with ironic comments or he will have to deal with Martin :) He's so protective over Saga, sweet! Plenty... |

Firstday, I think you are an good example of how we can be very talented in one thing and then suck at something else. That is a standard Aspergers symptom. Such a cool gift, to have a photographic memory. Maybe your brain is protecting itself from overloading and doesn't store other type of informa... |

I realize you sound very scared and distressed and time might be of the essence here. If the root of your problem is indeed the fear of having sex for the first time, you should see a sex therapist and talk about your fears. Well, that sounded like there's something wrong about having fears before ... |

I don't prefer kids. I'd rather not. You can't have a real relationship with a child. Bill, you misunderstand me. I get physically sick if I genuinely want a relationship with a girl who also seems to be interested in me if I learn that she is sexually experienced at all. THAT is why it's a problem... |

Some close friends with whom I can talk about the things I love still think I'm talented; BUT I think it's just because I know a little more than them. I'm sure that if someone really professional checked my knowledge they would find lots of gaps. So I think it's no giftedness, it's just the obsess... |

I plan to be kinder to myself as a result of this diagnosis. Me too! :) Puzzles me why someone would say there aren't any upsides to late diagnosis. I was diagnosed at 41 and I can honestly say I'm happier now than I remember ever been in my adult life. To finally understand yourself and your diffi... |

Want to greet my fellow Aspies with a proper introduction so here we go. According to my neuropsychiatrical coach a "typical high functioning Aspie woman", diagnosed at 41, 1,5 years ago. Having been the odd one out all my life, I'm suddenly "typical" :D Looking forward to that for a change! I work ... |
