My father was 29, my mother was 30. My father had AS traits, one of my uncles was definitely AS, as is my nephew, although, as far as I am aware, undiagnosed. I was diagnosed autistic when I was seven. Looks to be more genetic than age-related.

That is so right. I can recognise faces in pictures and even on TV, but I cannot find my partner in the supermarket unless I remember what she is wearing - and even that can cause problems.
