do all people with Aspergers also have ADHD, or ADD. no, but many and also the symptoms overlapp. Some even think it's a spectrum from ADHD/ADD towards ASD, but I wouldn't go that far because there are also very extrovert and highly social ppl with ADHD. Hi Raziel, I have been told that often ADD/A...

To ever think that their is a cure for Autism has never crossed my mind, to contemplate such notion is hard for me to comprehend. I am me and I dislike many many things about myself and the way I am , but that is irelevant as I am me, and with one life, it is what it is. to cure another way of being...

I was actually thinking of starting thread about this on the adult life section. I have been consciously forcing myself to do NT things like eye contact for so long that at times it seems almost natural. At times I wonder if what I am doing is the real me or the coping/acting me. When I am here I h...

Present tense, I'm mainly only myself when at my own home and in the car, after many years of seeing that a lot of people are not understanding of my predisposition. But over time I'm starting to care less when out in public it's not my fault the way I am and don't get all the great indirect social ...

Another source of respect would be correct pronunciation and stressing of place names and I'll throw down some examples because it's 2am and this is what I do: What?! That's too much work! We'll pronounce it the way we like (Americans are the only people on Earth who speak English correctly, anyhow...

I think it is not straight forward , Maybe down to the individual person with AS, social issues, life style, Mental healt...
