Alana, I have felt the same way and had the same experience. I have not yet recovered the memory of what happened, I just remember the feeling that everything changed. I have not been the same since and have experienced near constant traumatic events throughout my childhood. I have also wondered if ... |

Thanks, I relate a lot to what everyone has said and it's helping me understand. For a long time I considered PTSD but it just did not cover the symptoms I'm experience, so I rejected that as a diagnosis, but C-PTSD seems to hit the nail on the head. I have classic aspie issues, but also had severe ... |

Okay, thanks. That's exactly what I was thinking, that one could cause the other. I had an extremely troubled childhood and have always (since I was very tiny) had CPTSD symptoms. A few of my problems/symptoms just weren't covered under AS and I think that must be what the difference is. Thanks for ... |

I just stumbled across the symptoms of Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and was surprised by how similar the symptoms are to AS. Does anyone know what the difference is? I'm not sure how a therapist/psychologist/doctor/etc could even tell. I'm confused because I feel that I have all the sympto... |

Dear Mom, I'm sick and tired of your judgment and your negative attitude about my life. Nothing I ever do will be good enough for you. You will tear me apart and then validate yourself later, telling me I deserved it or it was good for me. You know you're full of S***! You know you've done little to... |

If anyone has skype, I am chalula88, and I am online the majority of the time.
I am 19 and interested in: movies, writing, pet rats, video editing, and pretty much anything else. |

Hi! I am a 19 year old Aspie and happily living with my 22 year old Aspie boyfriend. I love him so much and we are best friends, but I still get really bored. Lately I have felt guilty because he has friends to hang out with and talk to online and I don't. I know it's not fair to rely solely on him ... |

Me and my boyfriend are aspies and we are both baby faced with big round eyes and oval heads. Neither of us have deep set eyes, a pointy nose, or a nose with no brim. Our facial features and proportions are incredibly similar. We volunteer with the mentally handicapped and one of them asked if we we... |

Thanks for the suggestions! I will definitely check those books out! I know it is not desirable to be with someone who breaks things or punches walls, but we both have our issues that we are overcoming together and I believe that supporting him through it is necessary and loving. We are perfect for ... |

Hi everyone, I haven't posted here in probably over two or three years, but I've been lurking again recently due to the resurfacing of some old issues. On the bright side, me and my boyfriend are ecstatically happy with each other. We are madly in love and have both never connected to anyone as well... |

Yeah, I have no intention of taking the job if I ever hear back from them, although if it's been this long I doubt they will be calling back. I have heard of such emotional abuse it just seems odd that the mother would do that to me without informing me first that her son was going to make the call.... |

I used to watch it, the first few episodes I mean, because it was on thursday, but I don't have time to watch it on friday and I rarely want to sit in front of the computer and watch episodes. I liked it a lot, but I thought there needed to be more story, poor Jeff was doing the best he could with t... |

I've always loved The Sixth Sense. I think it does have to do with keeping a huge problem a secret and learning to make good out of it. I've always loved movies with psychics or superpowers in them. |

I have red hair, my brother has red hair, and my Mom has red hair. Me and my brother both have Asperger's. I have many aunts with red hair as well.
Red hair is on the decline though, it is predicted that in just a few more generations there won't be any red-heads at all! |

Thanks for everybody's replies. Yes, my parents do know about it and my email instead of my phone number is now run in my ads. I don't think anyone would know that I have asperger's. Unless they were on this website or are in my immediate family, i don't see how they would have found out, but I too ... |
