That is unfortunate. There are so many students that they seem to operate as if all children are the same so that they can accomplish their mission. While I understand it may be difficult to treat each and every child as unique and have a more fluid style of education ... We simply don't put enough ...

I wonder if most people over 50 would be considered higher functioning.

My thought is that Aspergers is a developmental issue .. and that with time we will develop more similar to NTs. So if we are older .. then we are more developed.

.. I am sorry this is a huge long story and I will be brief as possible. 1 yr ago I was being childish and in a very heated argument with my X wife I splashed some water in her face. Everything prior is a huge whole issue onto its own ... I wont bore you suffice it to say ... I got screwed in the di...

Seems like the argument you put forth could also be used as an excuse to shoot a deaf person, or someone in an autistic shut down because they can't respond or other such things. Unfortunately this is too common of an occurrence. I am saying it is not right but it is incredibly understandable. You ...

While I think that dress codes can be helpful they need to be realistic also.

it is hard to pass judgement on someone without actually being there. I understand that it is a police officers to deal with a variety of situations and many could unfortunately end their life. The law is simple. If a police officer asks you to cease you do so. If they ask you to identify yourself y...

I for one think a cure could be very useful for the species in general. Most species strive to improve and flourish over the others. However I know that if ever they did find a cure it would be for the future born and not those currently diseased. I may wish that I could be cured; and that I may hav...

I understand that contradicting part. For me I am a pessimist and a realist. I like to take the contrary side to all issues when thinking inside my head. This however is irritating to people when I communicate verbally with them. No one wants to talk to people who play devils advocate. I have also b...

I think the whole season would be much more enjoyable if the gift-giving part was eliminated altogether, or limited only to children 12 and under.

Agreed.

I think that I keep the relationship going right now because we planned this months ago. She is spending her winter break with me. I also figured I am less likely to kill my self with someone in my apartment with me. Christmas is usually a hard time for me; and without my kids for 2 years in a row i...

I feel the same. My father was a poor father. I am not a good one and I refuse to have more kids. I have hurt enough people already with my two children. I do not need to ruin anyone else lives.

It could be nitpicking. I am 40; and by far not an attractive male. I have sever cauliflower ear from years of BJJ and I have put on some weight in the last year due to depression. I am 22 pounds above my fight weight. The fact is what I find attractive is something that is not within my grasp. Or m...

17 years ago when I was 22 I dated a 16 yr old for 3.5 years. I am still paying for the mistake I made. I honestly loved her. I did everything I could for her. I thought the world of her and treated at all times with respect. Still one of the worst mistakes I ever made. once you cross the 18 barrier...
