Does anyone here love the movie Aladdin? ... And do you have any opinions on the post-apocalypse world theories? |

When I was at Small Group this past Monday, I happened to mention that I could use a haircut but that I hate getting one because people touch me and think they can talk to me. This elicited some laughs, especially from a girl who happens to be a hairdresser. She said, and others agreed, that it woul... |

if someone expresses to us their thoughts, then we can know them. Precisely! I was trying to refute stardraigh's idea that we can never have knowledge of another mind like the deaf can never know what sound is. If the deaf can learn to lipread than we can learn empathy. Okay, I understand now. I th... |

I do not understand the above comment. It is impossible to touch someone's mind. We also have skin, not just bones. We actually have a lot more than just bones. Also, if someone expresses to us their thoughts, then we can know them.
I am not exactly sure where you are going with this. |

I ran across an article, albeit a very short, not-so-helpful article, about mind-blindness a few weeks back. For whatever reason, and I really hope that it is not because I am an idiot, I have been unable to really grasp what this means. I think it is that I have a difficult time explaining it in my... |

WOW! I regret that I cannot take time to respond to each of you individually, but to address you all collectively, I would like to say thank you!! I am so pleased to hear that I am not the only one who is aware of this issue. You have given me many good things to think about and consider as I come a... |

Let me start off by saying that I am not sure how to best communicate all I want to say, so please bear with me. I should also say that I am trying my best to word this in a way that is not hateful, but I may have trouble with that. I would like to also give the disclaimer that what I say is not int... |

Here is a picture of Oatmeal: http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/320x240q90/203/f7qo.jpg Here is a picture of Potato: http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/320x240q90/703/hidh.jpg I cleaned Potato's tank today, so he is pretty pissed off at me now. I take extra care to clean it as quickly as possible, but ... |

I've always heard that Tokay geckos can be little as*holes. Someone I know had one and he said it was evil. But then again, I've seen online where people have Tokay geckos who are as tame and docile as leopard geckos. Chances are, if I got one, it'd be a little butthead who'd hate me. LOL. I like lo... |

I was reading a book recently that had things about that type of gecko in it and it's just a wild looking gecko. So awesome. I'm really interested in Chameleons right now. Snakes were definitely an object of my interest as a child, though my Granma hated them so much because they creeped her out. LO... |

Yes, Bearded Dragons are really cool. I definitely am interested in getting one someday. I'd name it Patrick. Axolotls are really cool, too. Unfortunately, they are endangered. I only like the albino morphs. The mottled brown ones aren't as aesthetically pleasing. I think what makes them look so cut... |

Is anyone out there really interested in reptiles, leopard geckos specifically? I have 2 leopard geckos, Oatmeal and Potato. They were PetsMart purchases (ew, I know), so I can only make guesses as to what morphs they are. My best guess, and a safe one at that, is that Oatmeal is a Normal/Wild Type.... |

This might not be what you want, but do you think it would help if you printed/copied out this post, and showed it to her? I don't think I can bring myself to copy out this post, but I guess writing a few sentences to remind myself of bringing these things back up next time might be a good idea. I'... |

I'm probably not going to be able to find the correct words or way to say what I'm trying to say and I'm sorry for that. I don't even think I've gathered all my thoughts yet. Yesterday, I had therapy and it wasn't awful but I left with a lot on my mind. There was one point near the end when she look... |

Does anyone else like knowing the definition of words as defined by a dictionary and reading that dictionary as you highlight your favorite words in order to collect them and copy them down in a notebook later on?
Or, is this just me? |

I am really enjoying the last few days of reading about things. It's so much different than when I was a kid. All I had back then was encyclopedias (not even a full set) and one or two books that were about all animals, not just the ones of my special interest. The internet has made it seem like a c... |
