The problem I have is that I have great interactions with people who share my interests all the time and that never leads to anything. This makes me skeptical of that kind of advice. It sucks and it hurts me to say this since I know how it feels to be in this situation and not understand how to fix...

The simple answer to your question: They just do it. If you really want a girlfriend/wife, you would get one. Judging by your post however, I'm not convinced that you REALLY want one because you're convinced that you're not good enough or you don't deserve it, and you're using this aspergers thing ...
