I bought mine for a seller on etsy.com. If you search weighted blankets, several options will come up and you can look for the right size and print you want.

Is he overtired?

I tend to get hyper and have a hard time falling asleep if I don't catch my "window." Then I get into a horrible cycle that is hard to get out of.

I don't really like to shower. It just seems like a lot of work. Once I am in, I just go as quick as possible and get out. I try to shower everyday but sometimes my depression gets the best of me and I skip a day or two (or three  ). I do really like being clean though!

If you have trouble asking or getting a reduction in hours, you can consider, are you able to identify what you are having most trouble with? That might be helpful for what you need to work on for you in therapy, but also make it seem more logical to you employer. Maybe there is some kind of accomm...

I found website for employers, and it addresses your specific questions http://askjan.org/Erguide/Three.htm#D3 Short answer, no under the ADA, the employer doesn't have to give you part time hours. If they do, they don't have to keep your full time benefits. Also there is the nasty phrase "undue ha...

I know how you feel. Can your therapist communicate with employer? ADA says they can't discriminate against you. If your relationship with your boss is good, he or she will be understanding. Don't feel ashamed. It's tough figuring out how your ASD affects your performance at work. I am currently se...

Could you use FMLA?

Unfortunately, no. I have only worked for this company for 8 months and you need 12 months of employment before you can use FMLA benefits from what I have read.

I was recently diagnosed with ASD. I have been working with children with ASD since August. I love my job but I am feeling very overwhelmed right now and not able to perform as well as I know I can because of this. When I was diagnosed, my therapist suggested I do something to lessen my workload whi...

I have noise cancelling headphones but I don't really like them. They don't really block that much noise and the muffled noises, especially talking, bother me more than just hearing the talking/noise regularly sometimes. I need something that can make it completely silent, but that doesn't seem to e...

I am not sure if this counts but: A few weeks ago, my boss asked me if I had the papers she asked me to bring for the clients we were meeting. I looked through my bag to make sure I had them, found them, and then told her yes. A couple minutes later, she was like "Well, can you give me the papers." ...

I have some minor face recognition issues. I saw my step sister at a store a few weeks ago and took me a while to realize it was her. I almost walked right past her. I also was meeting someone at work. My boss walked by me and said hi. I had no idea who he was because I was looking for the person I ...

Thanks for your response. I have tried talking to family members but they just don't understand and tell me to suck it up. I caught myself rocking multiple times today :? I don't mind disclosing If I get diagnosed, but I worry that they will deem me incompetent if I ask for any accommodations and wo...

I am not sure if this is what is going on, but I believe so. My schedule has changed at work (again!) and I am now working in a very busy, stimulating environment 5 days a week for 3 hours each time. I had been working there 3 days a week with a break. This was my first week working all 5 days. By T...

I am very anxious about my upcoming assessment, so please bare with me while I ask a few questions. I am starting to second guess if I have ASD or if I am just anxious by nature. I don't remember much of my child hood at all. I can think of clear symptoms that point to Aspergers/Autism after I was a...

Is it still considered a special interest if you don't really collect information/facts about something but spend a lot of time looking at pictures of something? I have always been into dolls, for as long as I can remember. I don't really collect facts about dolls but I can spend hours looking at do...
