Chess is tough game, make no mistake. I've been playing for about 4 years and play at around a 1500 level on average but my rating fluctuates quite a bit. Your BF should realise that most people, especially adults new to the game, will never play at a 2200 level. I would suggest focussing on your en...

I've just finished my degree at Newcastle Uni a couple of weeks ago and would encourage you to apply for the courses you're interested in. Being 5UAI points off the mark is not a lot, and you would still have an extremely good chance of getting into the program of your choice. When I first started m...

I play under the name King Mob over at redhotpawn.com, and would be pleased to play against any folk from wrong planet who also play on that site.

As a side note, for those looking for a place to play chess online, www.redhotpawn.com is a particularly good site.

I love The Mighty Boosh, especially the "Old Greg" episode. Sublime and ridiculous all at once.

1. Do you fit in with your gender role? Not really 2. Are you diagnosed with AS/unsure/curious/NT? Self dxed Aspie. 3. Are you picky about food/eating? Extremely. Can't eat foods that are touching each other and I have eaten the same breakfast almost every morning for 20 years. 4. Are there any body...

I made it to 22 without ever having had a real girlfriend or a real sexual experience. I had basically resigned myself to being a solitary creature for the rest of my life. Things really changed out of the blue though, I'm 26 now and have been in the same relationship for the last four years. Learni...

I've been playing chess on and off for a couple of years and have had good success, won a few local tournaments and can hold my own against most players. Incidentally, top Czech grandmaster David Navara is a confirmed aspie. During his games he always sits well back from the table because he says he...

I don't think I actively attempt to "imitate" fictional characters, I try to channel their mindset into my personality.

My favourite is King Mob, the coolest Motherf***er ever committed to print.

I have a Japanese film in my collection named Naked Blood, about a boy genius who synthesizes a drug which turns feelings of pain into pleasure. He then administers it to two (maybe three?) girls from his school against their will as a "clinical trial". the movie then basically degenerates into a fa...

I'm 25 now and have eaten the same breakfast almost every day since the age of about seven. Four slices of toast with promite. Over the years the accompanying beverage has changed from chocolate milk to apple juice, and I have made the move from white bread to wholegrain, but other than that... if i...

I do. I find it very difficult to stay interested during gentle sex, it just doesn't turn me on anywhere near as much.
