I read an article on this just today (well, yesterday, seeing as it's now after midnight): http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/aspergers-diary/201312/early-memory-and-autism My earliest memories date back to when I was 2 years old--perhaps earlier). I remember the green Volvo station wagon we got r... |

Thank you all very, very much for replies. I rememberd how on most of my early birthdays, well, I always made some scene. I wanted kids to come over and still, most of the time it ended in frustration. Later I did not even want to celebrate. I also found one tape from my friends birthday. I was 5 at... |

Viscerotonia = 17
Somatotonia = 10
Cerebrotonia = 21
Scores should range between 8 and 24.
Scores from 8 to 13 could be considered "low,"
from 14 to 18 "medium,"
from 19 to 24 "high." |

I've given this lot of thought and I don't know what really to say except that, I understand in theory. It's not hard for me to figure out why people complain and than do the opposite, I do that as well, because sometimes things I like annoy me. I said I would not spend any more time playing video g... |

I am not really sure if sensitivity is what leads to me being upset, or does me being upset increase my sensitivity. But there is certainly a connection. |

I've been trying to remember things, earliest memories and mostly I remember certain objects, their colors, certain little details and so on, from about 2/3 years of age. I don't remember many activities or people, until elementary school. I went through old photos and I couldn't really see any sign... |

This new year I refused to acknowledge the celebrations. I was extremely fortunate to find a new place before my parents forced me to g back to my disgustingly filthy student address. Despite my parents urging me to stay for new years I felt no compulsion to be around people. I dont see why people ... |

I felt disconnected only after being rejected many times by peers. Yes, I wanted to join, but usually found myself standing alone, either because activities of other kids didn't interest me (there was something more interesting like a certain toy or book or anything) or because I tried to impose my ... |

I am also worried how would I react if everyone started blowing horns, that sound startles me even when I am walking. If roads were mostly empty, I probably wouldn't have a problem. |

Well, don't think only aspeis feel disconnected - there are schizoid people (who are even more disconnected than aspies), highly sensitive person can feel disconnected, and introverts do feel disconnected from many activities that others find all fun and pleasurable. And not all NT's have pack menta... |

I laugh often to thing that come to my mind and than everyone is wondering why am I laughing, and I can't explain. It's just an image that pops in my head, or some association.
It's not so often as when I was in school but it still happens from time to time. |

Anyway, will the psychologists think I've wasted their time if I don't get the diagnosis? Also, has anyone here gone through the assessment process without getting a diagnosis? If so, what was that like? Have you, since then, found out why you've always felt so different and what the "missing puzzl... |
