I'm sinking a bottle of Captain Morgan's Dark Rum.

I really shouldn't be, as it's quarter past three in the morning and I need to be at work at eight.

Apparently The US president-elect, Donald Trump, said it was a terror attack and blamed “Islamist terrorists”. A taste of his presidency to come in that he didn't bother to consult anyone or check any sources first before announcing "mussies did it"... I take it you know precisely who he ...

My Halloween was great. I got absolutely bladdered in the pub and woke up this morning at 11am, which is three hours after I was supposed to have started work.

Boss wasn't happy, but Halloween is only once a year, and I think it deserves to be celebrated seriously.

You think the human race would be wiped out if people stopped playing ridiculous dominance games. I think the world would be a better place. Absolutely. I think the 'power play' in sex is absolutely repellent, both in dominant individuals and those who roll over for them. I don't like Trump, and I ...

UKIP have always been a joke. Coming from a Corbynista, that's got a delicious irony to it. How hard were you laughing at the 'joke' that is UKIP on the morning after the EU referendum? It's hardly the first time a UK politician has been involved in a bit of handbags. Michael Heseltine an...

Apparently, the MEP who thumped him had the hump that he was planning to defect to the Tories before throwing his hat back into the ring for the UKIP leadership.

Just watched the latest Poldark.

I'm fuming!

How could they do that to Francis?

And why?

And in even less surprising news, the hard working activist in question, who has fought racial injustice for 40 years and is Jewish herself simply questioned why other atrocities which claimed a greater number of lives weren't included in holocaust memorial day. (Such as the murder of 100 million n...

Labour membership has nearly doubled in a year or so. Most of them joined because of Corbyn. It's common knowledge that a lot of people snapped up Ed Miliband's £3 membership just to throw a spanner in Labour's cogs. Anarchists. Socialist Worker activists... Leftists who despised the NuLabour movem...

What Jihadis? He's against war and always will be. What are you talking about? How many people has McDonnell killed? Why's he disgusting? McDonnell and Corbyn are two anti-western peas in a pod, and they're only anti-war when it suits their pernicious agenda. They've got form for cosying up to terr...

Corbyn will stand by what he believes, he's anti-war and has the balls to stick to that. Rubbish. All it takes is a wink from a jihadi, and any apparent principles Jeremy holds regarding feminism, LGBT rights , anti-Semitism, and anti-war sentiment go flying out of the window. No 'man of peace', wo...

It's a little (25ft) narrowboat, and it's the best thing I ever bought, no doubt about it.

Maybe one day I'll move onto something bigger, but this will do me for as long as I need it to.

£200? 8-O Even if it did need work, you can't go far wrong with that. I'd love a project boat. Don't give up, BirdInFlight. I'd wanted a boat for years before the opportunity came, and I've never been in the position to pay much for one. Prices tend to be a bit ridiculous in London because of the la...

Is he the father of her daughter too? No. I believe he was dumped for the father of her daughter because he didn't want kids, or couldn't have them or something like that. The kid's father was staying there on and off after he got kicked out of his flat, but has returned to his country of origin in...

It's not unusual.

I've had girlfriends with kids. A lot of them don't like any kind of competition for a parent's attention. I'd suppose that with her mother gone, she's extra-clingy to her one parent.

We've been 'together' for nearly three years, and I'm somewhat embarrassed to say that she is a manipulative and abusive partner. I've tried to end the relationship many times because of her behaviour, but she turns into a very scary stalker until I cave in. Things have been better between us since ...
