have you tried placing a smart phone next to the speaker and using the translate function?
The only other options is set you tube to display captions the manually type these into google translate. (very time consuming i know) |

I've heard Vladimiur Putin is an aspie. If it's true we shouldn't be provoking him because we all know about aspie rage |

Anyone on here watch the uk television series casualty (9pm bbc1 saturdays)? Does any one thing the new paramedic ruby spark, played by Maddie Hill, is aspie? The reason i says this is her rather monotone voice, her obsession with the rules, and attention to detail, as well as thinking outside the b... |

The 3rd Time was for clarifications as the 1st diagnosis when I was 11 years old 1997 said I was Autistic the 2nd when I was 14 2001 said I wasn’t the 3rd one claimed the first diagnosis was correct. Now the psycho... |

I'm a borderline Aspie and there is talk of removing Aspergers Syndrome from the Autism spectrum. I'd like a penfriend, any age, but cannot handle negative thinking, whinging or complaining. I believe we chose this life and our parents so let's get on with it. Apologies if I sound like Doc Martin :... |

Nothing wrong with self diagnosing however an official diagnosis will open up doors to help such as reasonable adjustments in the work place. If possible go back to this thereapist and ask her to write a letter outlining why she thinks you have autism. You can then take this to your doctor to ask fo... |

Thanks for the insight mike. I'm British and some of the behaviour of the American police would attract outrage in Britain. Im beginging to think that the short term solution to police racism is to have all black areas ( like Harlem or Brixton uk) policed exclusively by black policeman. Hispanic are... |

I am a a man and I have the same problem with fabrics. At first I thought it was just me but this thread gives me reassurance. I avoid wearing wool or trousers that are 100% polyester. I prefer my shirts to be 100% cotton. I find washing them before wearing them for the the first time also helps. My... |

i sympathize with the OP - i couldn't wish this on my worst enemy. but like sweetleaf says, unless/until they are able to surgically rewire the neural circuits (ala the old Star Trek episode "Spock's Brain") there's not much chance of becoming NT. I don't want to be "cured"! Why don't NTs take pill... |

Still sounds like more than a learning difference....I mean it would seem a lot of people on the spectrum can have a hard time processing a lot of information/outside input, so also likely to be a processing difference. Also I can see how trying to force an autistic baby/child to interact normally a... |

Sorry if this has already been suggested on here, but the recent decision to abolish the diagnosis of AS and replace it with one of high functioning autism got me thinking. This is not an accurate description of the change. The Aspergers diagnosis has been replaced with an Autism Spectrum Disorder ... |

[quote="tarantella64"]Middle-aged women are far less likely to take sh** from men than young women are. We've just had too much experience to do that - decades' experience with men lying to us, trying to shift their work to us, trying to get us to do things for them, making excuses for not... |
