Graelwyn,
It's very unhealthy to think that 150 lbs is heavy for someone who is 5'10" tall, even if the person being weighed is female. Please DON'T lose any more weight. The only thing that losing more weight can give you is death. |

• There are no pharmaceuticals for treating AS. • Psychiatrists typically refuse to recognise AS. • Psychiatrists are not required to have studied any psychology. The vast majority of psychiatrists HAVE studied psychology, though. I doubt it. Out of the four psychiatrists I've seen, only the first ... |

I've had motion sickness while riding in cars (so I recognise the feeling) but never in skateparks. Although when I use to skate in a huge indoor megaplex Vans skatepark, I'd prefer to do a couple of things: • Use it during the day - when kids are at school. Sometimes I'd be the only person using it... |

LOL. As for getting a diagnosis; unless you see any real reson for it, it's probably not worth the time. As for psychiatrists; they're not required to have any psychology training so, not the people to go to for AS therapy. A clinical psychologist who understands the autistic spectrum would be a muc... |

I'm curious about something: Do the Brits who say "maths" as short for "mathmatics", also say "gyms" as short for "gymnastics"? |

It's been a long time since I saw any, but I'll go ahead and say: The Jungle Book. And yes, I'm going to include Mary Poppins in my preferred list. It had some animation. I'd probably like it just as well if they animated the whole thing, using the audio from the classic movie. Although a real life ... |

Prevention should be a top priority of yours, the next time you spend a whole day outside when it's sunny. The last time I was at a beach, I wore a hat with a big brim in addition to the sunscreen. Unfortunately I didn't put any sunscreen on my feet, and paid the price for it. Because of that one da... |

I bet there are some like that. It's probably safe to assume that the answer to your question is "Yes". Now, aren't you glad you asked? http://www.p3.md/Resources/cleanlift.jpg http://www.gillathletics.com/PVNews/images/Chelsea%20Johnson.jpg http://www.runblogrun.com/Johnson_ChelseaQ-WChs09-thumb.jp... |

I find quite astonishing, the large percentage of people here who consider team sports as the quintessential definition of "sport". Why do sohh many of you not recognise solitary sports? Running, skating, bicycling, climbing, swimming, golf, some forms of dance, all track & field disciplines (ot... |

My kid (with AS) has horribly flat feet along with severe ankle pronation (they point inwards and towards the ground). He has a very hard time running and jumping but never complains of pain. We had inserts for a while, but he managed to flatten them out almost overnight. We'ver taken him to severa... |
