And kids get that too. Not me but my friend and my cousin. "what school do you go to, how are your grades, do you play any sports?". What happened to Mind Your Own Business? Too true. Now I'm older, I get: "What A-Levels are you studying?" and "What do you want to do at university?" and "Where do y...

Did my parents do any research about it?
Hahahahaha.

(They had a month between the suggestion I was AS and the official diagnosis because my father wanted to research. What happened? Nothing. What's happening two years later? Nothing. Will anything ever happen? No.)

0845 cost me 35p per minute. Fair enough, then. I dunno. Other militaries don't allow people with autism in, so I don't see why ours should. It's not a matter of being equal and fair and nice, I think it's more a matter of efficiency and having good soldiers. Which, considering some of our traits, ...

As at 21 Mar 11 So... (your point is???)...is that form out of date or not then? out of date. st least this will mean i can get into the army. Playing the devil's advocate here: where does it say explicitly that it's out of date? (I was told once at a careers fair that they have some kind of inquir...

Uhhhh...maybe they just haven't updated this yet. But, well, I dunno (maybe you're just following this closer than I am, and they have actually changed it).

Japanese: People above have said it's very difficult for a Westerner and do you really want to invest that much time in learning a whole new alphabet/set of characters? Spanish: It's probably useful because you live in the US, and because your fiancé speaks it, they can (presumably) help you with a...

I used to (and kind of still do) see conversations with people as a series of questions/opinions/(controversial) statements and answers. Person A asks a questions. Person B replies with an answer (and maybe another question). Person A asks another question/queries person B. And so on. I used to thin...

My mom had to talk about my early childhood (but thankfully I wasn't there) to a psychologist. I wouldn't say that it was absolutely necessary. If the pysch says you have autism, then they should (be able to) diagnose you, whether or not your mom fills in the questionnaire. They just need to know ab...

Niiiiiiiiice. I feel like I could slow-dance to it (if I could dance, that is).
P.S. And then, when that piece finished, the website went on to (of it's own accord) another one of yours - Tourdion (with bagpipes??) and that was very nice too. :D

I will only touch people if I initiate the contact, i.e. I ask for the hug, etc. I like hugs, but only when I ask for them. Other than that, I don't want people near me, especially teachers, parents, people I don't know very well, etc. The only person I let near me all the time in my best friend and...
